Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) sits alone in the dark, crying over Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) betrayal with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards). Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) drops by to console her. Brooke can’t accept that Ridge asked Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to file the divorce papers. Donna suggests an annulment. Shauna surely wouldn’t want to be married to Ridge when he’s clearly in love with Brooke.
Brooke doesn’t know how she and Ridge can go back to their days of bliss when Ridge, drunk or not, committed his life to someone else. He threw aside their marriage. Brooke concedes defeat to Shauna.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Shauna Fulton Feels Guilty
Shauna feels guilty for deceiving Ridge into marrying her. She wouldn’t have a legal marriage if she hadn’t texted Ridge’s lawyer from his phone to file the paperwork. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) assures her that no one will ever know what they did. Ridge walks in as they discuss their secret.
Ridge is forlorn because he had to tell Brooke that their marriage is over and that he’s married to someone else. Shauna says it’s never easy breaking someone’s heart. She tells Ridge that she’s there for him, whatever he needs. Ridge disappoints Shauna by going to bed alone on the first official night of their marriage.
B&B Spoilers – Shauna Fulton Takes Advice
Quinn urges Shauna to go comfort her husband. Shauna takes her advice and visits Ridge in his bedroom. Ridge feels awful for forgetting their wedding. The more excited Shauna gets about their marriage, the guiltier Ridge feels. Shauna wants to show Ridge how much she loves him. He says that he’s lucky to have her in his life, but he’s not ready to start a life with her. Shauna says she’ll be waiting and kisses her husband goodnight. She clutches her marriage certificate, hopeful for their future.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) bugs Steffy about keeping up with her medication. Steffy will take her doctor’s advice and step down to over-the-counter medication if she can be fully available to her daughter. Steffy trusts her doctor. Thomas tries to no avail to help his sister. When he leaves, Steffy takes her last pain pill.
When Donna leaves, Brooke mopes around her bedroom, looking out the window, and thinking about Ridge and the mistakes they’ve made. Ridge looks out his window, thinking of Brooke and their romantic reunions.
You can bet your last dollar that Brooke is not going to mope around much longer she’s going to get to the bottom of this sham of a marriage with every fiber of her being.
