‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Friday, August 21: Ridge Busts Steffy & Carter, Electra’s Secret Project, Will Turns to Dylan

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Friday, August 21, 2026. In today’s episode, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) is on a secret project.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) debate about what to do. However, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) just happens to overhear.

Daphne Rose Walton Opens Up

Ridge comes in and asks Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) about Steffy. The man needs to talk to his daughter.

Ridge has to give Daphne an update on Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) showing up in Monaco. The Nose says her friend probably needs some peace,  but she’ll be there for her. 

The topic turns to Daphne leaving Carter. The Nose explains that she couldn’t get on the plane. Ridge is convinced that Daphne and Carter will be solid, just like Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Lovers Debate

Carter and Steffy talk in another office. What they did was a mistake. Nobody can know what they did! Carter instructs her to keep silent.

Steffy says she nearly told Finn the truth, but was saved by his pager. Carter demands that Steffy lie. This is no time to be righteous! It’s killing Carter, too, and Ridge would never accept it.

Ridge Forrester Overhears

Steffy wants to tell the truth anyway. Carter tries to explain, but then Ridge barges in. The man demands to know what’s going on.

Secret Project

In the showroom, Electra reacts to RJ’s pitch about her being the next Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). Electra looks like she’s playing dress up in her daddy’s clothes in that oversized marshmallow-like suit.

RJ gushes about all of Electra’s wonderful traits. No wonder she’s getting a big head. RJ is going to talk to Ridge about it.

Electra is so excited! RJ says they can use all Hope’s former resources and it will benefit the new line. RJ suggests they go to Bikini to celebrate. 

At the bar, Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) and Jessica (Sissy Sheridan) gossip about Electra and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). They see Will arrive at a table. Jessica notes he looks thirsty. Dylan goes to take his order. 

Dylan guesses that Electra confronted Will. The guy doesn’t understand anything, including why Electra walked out on him yet again.

Saying Too Much

Meanwhile, RJ and Electra get shown to a table by Jessica. They happen to see Will and Dylan.

Electra wants Dylan fired, but then she would just play victim. Electra keeps staring at Will. RJ tells Electra they should keep their news a secret from Will. 

Will comes over to talk to Electra. RJ goes to the bar. Will assumes they are on a date together. They argue about RJ and Dylan.

Will says he’s there to drink, not to see Dylan. They finally stop bickering and Will asks how she’s doing. Electra says she’s on a secret project. 

Despite the softness, Electra reminds him they can’t ever be together.
