The Bold & the Beautiful,’s Friday, August 28 recap opens with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) encouraging her bestie to throw the old Mrs. Ridge Forrester out. Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) paces, wondering what’s happening between Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) upstairs in his bedroom. Quinn guesses that Brooke is busy blaming all her problems on Quinn and Shauna.

Quinn says Brooke will never get over walking in on Shauna and Ridge together and Ridge will never put up with Brooke’s loyalty to her Italian stallion. Ridge heard enough of Brooke and Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) conversation to know that Ridge is not the only man in her heart. Brooke proved that everything Quinn and Shauna did to manipulate the Vegas wedding was justified.

Quinn urges Shauna to relish her time as Ridge’s wife and forget about the former Mrs. Ridge Forrester. Ridge didn’t come to Shauna because Brooke hurt him. He came to Shauna because he knows she won’t hurt him.

Ridge’s rage at Bill blocks the path to reconciliation with Brooke. Ridge can’t forgive all the pain Bill has caused to Ridge, Brooke, her sister, and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). After Bill took advantage of Steffy, he ran her over in his car. And yet, Brooke forgives and professes to love the man Ridge despises more than anyone.

Brooke begs Ridge to believe that Bill is a part of her past. Her future is with Ridge. She asks Ridge to come home. Why are they fighting when all they want to do is love each other?

B&B Spoilers – Between A Rock And A Hard Place

Ridge is caught between a rock and a hard place: he can’t see a future without Brooke, but he can’t get her declaration of love for Bill out of his head. Ridge sends Brooke packing: if she loves Bill so much, she should go to him. Brooke leaves Ridge alone with his anger. Ridge’s mind flip-flops between memories of Brooke kissing him and kissing Bill. He contemplates whether his future is with Brooke or with Shauna.

Brooke finds Shauna “lying in wait” for Ridge in the living room. Shauna’s pursuit of Ridge is disgusting and shameless. Ridge doesn’t even remember his wedding. Brooke lays all the blame for her failed marriage on Shauna.

The Bold And The Beautiful – Brooke Broke Ridge Forrester’s Heart

Shauna reminds Brooke that Ridge was perfectly sober when he chose to come to her tonight. Brooke is the one who broke his heart. Shauna warns Brooke not to question her motives. Everything she’s ever done has been for the love of Ridge. She’ll bring him loyalty and happiness and commitment while Brooke pursues other men. Shauna stakes her claim as the new Mrs. Ridge Forrester.

Brooke takes a page from Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) book and deems Shauna a slut from the desert. Ridge will always love Brooke and Shauna can’t do a thing about it.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) reels from the revelation that Bill is still in love with Brooke. Katie has made Bill kinder and a better father, but she hasn’t made him a better man, as he claims. He’s still a two-timer. He tells her he loves her in one breath and breaks her heart in the next. She realizes sadly that Bill’s connection to Brooke will never be broken. Katie loves Bill, but she can’t let him hurt her anymore. She’s devastated that her son will lose his family.

Bill claims his love for Brooke doesn’t detract from his love for Katie. Katie faces the truth: she and Bill are over. Katie walks out on Bill.
