‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Friday, August 28: Steffy Haunted By Betrayal, Carter Panics & Ridge & Taylor Sound The Alarm

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Friday, August 28, 2026. One couple gets counseled. There are regrets and reminders. Plus, one woman needs space from her best friend.

TRIDGE Debate

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) are in agreement. Things haven’t been quite right with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) since the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) incident.

It makes no sense that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) would sit beside Sheila for the entire flight. Why didn’t he get her off the flight or sit somewhere else? Finn also kept it from Steffy.

Regret & Reminders

At home, Steffy wakes up alone. She looks at her wedding photos by the bed and recalls seeing Sheila’s toes on the beach.

Steffy gets up and remembers telling Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) she couldn’t trust Finn anymore. She remembers what happened afterward. 

Finn enters with coffee and breakfast. She’s the most amazing wife in the world, he gushes. Finn blocked Sheila’s number and he can show her.

The man continues to apologize. Steffy just wants to forget it all happened. Finn keeps gushing over her.

Their one night away from each other opened Finn’s eyes. Their love is sacred and he would never put her at risk. 

Counseling Session

Taylor and Ridge call. On speaker, they talk to Finn and Steffy about their marriage. Finn promises that Sheila won’t be a part of his life. Steffy declares she wants to move forward. They hang up and Finn continues to gush about Steffy. The lady says she isn’t perfect. They can start anew and be honest from this day forward. Oh, how convenient. 

Meanwhile, Carter’s demands echo in Steffy’s mind.

Needing Space

At work, Carter is having a hard time focusing. Daphne shows up and wonders what’s on his mind. Daphne notices Steffy isn’t there and she just heard a rumor.

Carter gets nervous. Daphne brings up Sheila on the beach. 

Daphne is sorry again for walking out on Carter. They hope SINN can work things out. Daphne wants to check on her American BFF, but Carter says Steffy needs space. Daphne says she models their marriage on SINN’s. 

Carter suggests they focus on something else. Daphne is confident they will have a family, however it arrives. Daphne just wants their child to be just like Carter. Aww, that was sweet.

Daphne exits, so Carter remembers his passionate time with Steffy on the couch. The man is frustrated over possibly losing his wife. Carter declares that Steffy better keep quiet.

At FC, Taylor and Ridge hope Finn keeps his promise. Taylor worries their daughter is struggling.
