The Bold and The Beautiful Recap Friday, December 20: Steffy Sickened Working With Zoe – Hope and Liam Argue

On Friday, December 20, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) blasts Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for re-hiring Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Steffy doesn’t like Zoe, but the model does have something to offer: information. Unbeknownst to Hope, Steffy sets in motion Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) plan to smoke out Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) true motives.

Zoe and Thomas celebrate her return to Forrester Creations. Thomas claims that he’s open to romance with Zoe. He makes sure that Hope sees him kissing Zoe. Hope refuses to give Zoe a second chance. Hope isn’t buying Thomas’ instant love connection with Zoe and calls him on his bluff. Thomas says that he and Zoe have bonded over the shame of the awful things they did.

Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Makes Another Plea

Thomas makes another bid to be Hope’s designer. His only objective is to help her line win the fashion showdown. Hope agrees to give it some thought. While she’s talking business, Thomas is fantasizing about Hope’s body.

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) grills Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about why he would allow that lying Zoe back at his company. Ridge is as surprised as Brooke that Steffy made the call to re-hire Zoe. He’s proud of his daughter for finding understanding and forgiveness and urges Brooke to follow her lead.

Thomas calls his dad to thank him for re-hiring Zoe. Brooke is as skeptical as to her daughter that Thomas is moving on from Hope and becoming romantically involved with Zoe. Thomas’ violent past makes Brooke fear for her daughter’s safety.

Zoe kisses and tells her new boss. Zoe tells Steffy that she and Thomas are now kissing and getting closer. Steffy spots a red flag. She thinks that the Zoe/Thomas kiss was meant for Hope and not for Zoe.

Hope and Liam agree that Thomas is trying to con her by dating Zoe. Liam begs Hope not to work with Thomas since they have every reason to believe he’s still obsessed with her.

Hope ignores Liam’s advice and calls Thomas to give him the news that she’s hiring him as her designer. Hope is desperate to save Hope for the Future. Hope reassures Liam that Thomas has to accept that there’s only one man for her: Liam. Liam has a bad feeling about the partnership.

Thomas’ latest design is revealed to be a sketch of him kissing Hope.
