‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Friday, January 9: Steffy’s Alliance, Deke’s Date, Sheila’s Vow

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Friday, January 9, 2026. In today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) forms an alliance.

Someone has a crush on Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone). Plus, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) makes a vow.

Taylor Hayes’ Agreement

Steffy continues confronting Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). The doctor won’t make excuses; she knows it’s not appropriate. Steffy demands that Taylor cut off Deacon.

At the restaurant, Deacon and Deke debate about Sheila. Deke doesn’t want his dad tied down to someone like that. Deke asks his dad to please end the marriage and make a life with someone who isn’t a felon. Deacon tells his son to get back to work.

One of the waiters, Tyler (actor unknown), recognizes Deke from the gym. Tyler asks him out on a date. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!)

Sheila walks over to Deke, and she hears part of what he said. It doesn’t feel good to have people pushing Deacon to leave her. Sheila understands that it’s his opinion, but her past doesn’t define her.

Sheila just wants a chance to prove herself. It doesn’t go well. Sheila turns around and promises no one is going to divide her marriage.

Taylor Hayes Explains

Deacon arrives at Taylor’s office. The doctor admits Steffy saw them and confronted her. Deacon needs to find a new therapist. Deacon doesn’t want a referral.

Taylor says it’s what is best for the patient. Deacon disagrees. Deacon is the best when he’s with Taylor. The woman warns that it’s dangerous. Deacon doesn’t want to unleash the beast, Sheila, on the world.

Deacon thinks that they are good for each other. They agree to remain friends. Deacon admits that fairy tale romances aren’t for people like them.

Carter Walton Proposes

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) kisses Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) in the showroom. The COO begs her to stay in L.A. with him.

Daphne says her family and home are in Paris. However, Daphne admits that she thinks of things with Carter that she hasn’t thought of with other men.

That’s unhealthy, so she should go. Carter won’t let her walk away. This doesn’t make any sense! Daphne says she sacrificed her private life to focus on work.

She won’t lose everything she’s built. She knows Carter wouldn’t hold her back, but still. Daphne is fulfilled, but has always wished for a family. Daphne wanted kids, too, but that wasn’t in her future.

Carter wants to talk about that. Daphne tells him to have another woman and to forget about her! Wow, so dramatic, Daphne. Carter tells her about his dream of having a family and children.

He wants that with her. Daphne thinks he’s just saying that. Carter says it’s true. The man must be only committed to Daphne. Carter says she’s the only woman he wants. The Nose insists their time is over!

Daphne starts to leave, so Carter drops down on one knee. Men have tried that before on her. Carter isn’t offering her jewels, but his love and devotion. Carter pulls out a ring and asks her to marry him.

Hope Logan Spencer’s Alliance

Steffy goes into her office at Forrester Creations. The woman can’t stop thinking about what she overheard with Deacon and Taylor. Steffy calls Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and informs her of the situation.

Hope is in disbelief. Steffy knows what she saw and heard. It’s mutual. Hope is happy, but Steffy is freaked out. Hope thinks Taylor is great for Sheila.

However, Steffy reminds her that Taylor would become Sheila’s next target. Steffy needs Hope’s help to stop this doomed romance!
