‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Friday, July 17: Will Hits Rock Bottom, Eric Bans Him & Finn’s Sheila Plea Stuns Steffy

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Friday, July 17, 2026. In today’s episode, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is a drunken mess.

Meanwhile, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reacts to John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) request regarding Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Keep reading to find out all the details!

Eric Forrester’s Demand

Eric Forrester (John McCook) orders Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) to get rid of Will. He should never come back. Will argues that Eric doesn’t know anything.

Electra sides with Eric and tells Will to go. Then, Electra leans into Eric’s shoulder and weeps. Eric tells Will to get out now and never return. 

Will slowly leaves the house. 

Eric is sorry that this is so hard for Electra. She should not waste her time with Will. The company is in crisis right now. Electra says Will is the one,  but Eric disagrees.

They talk about her grandfather. Electra promises Eric that the family and company are her only priorities. Eric reminds her that there is no room for Will. Electra agrees. 

Will Spencer’s Drunken Mess

Will goes to Bikini Bar. Meanwhile, Jessica (Sissy Sheridan) pushes Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) for details about Will.

If Dylan doesn’t lock him down, Jesssica will make a play herself. Will is depressed, sitting by the fire. Dylan checks on Will, who says he needs a drink and to be left alone. 

A woman sits by Will and starts talking about being double-jointed. She invites him to go swan boating. Will passes and intentionally calls her “Sharon,” even though her name is Shelly.

Dylan returns to Will and urges him to open up. Will says Eric forced Electra to kick him out. Dylan mentions that Electra didn’t defend him. 

After Will has several beers in him, Dylan says it’s closing time. Will can’t walk and certainly can’t drive. Dylan offers to drive him home, but Will says he can walk home. 

Will tries drunk dialing Electra, but there is no answer. Will promises to always love her. Just at that moment, Electra picks up the phone, but Will is already gone. They both stare at the moon separately. 

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Vents

At the cliffhouse, Finn gets a call from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). The lady reminds him to talk to Steffy.

Speaking of the devil, Steffy shows up just then. Steffy tells him about Daphne Rose Walton’s (Murielle Hilaire) diagnosis. They talk about eggs and being parents. Finn reminds Steffy that adoption truly is wonderful. 

John Finnegan’s Confession

Finn mentions Sheila came by to see him. Steffy nearly chokes. Finn thinks Sheila has proven herself. Steffy knows Finn is tempted, but Sheila will always be a threat.

Sheila is going after the children. Steffy knows Finn wants to believe his bio mom, but it’s not safe. Finn insists Sheila has changed, thanks to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

Steffy reminds Finn that Sheila no longer has Deacon. They can’t let her in.

Sheila Carter Sharpe’s Fixation

At Sheila’s place, she stares at a photo of Finn. She caresses the photo. All she wants is a family.
