‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Friday, September 4: Darcy Rips Into Katie, Electra’s Regret, Will’s Choice

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Friday, September 4, 2026. In today’s episode, we saw Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) confront Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom).

Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) has regrets. Plus, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) makes a fateful choice.

Darcy Dylan’s Clash

At the beach house, Will doesn’t see what the big deal is. Katie totally disagrees. The girl is full of secrets and even kept her mommy in the dark!

Oh, my! Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) tries to explain she came to L.A. to start a new life. Katie accuses her of trying to trap Will. 

Will calls his mother a snob. Katie is certain her son deserves better than “this.”

Darcy suddenly bursts through the door. Nobody talks about her baby girl like that! Will can guess who she is. Darcy says Katie might have towers and boats, but she doesn’t need them. Darcy has a boat at home. 

Darcy says what makes Dylan tick is character. The mom says her daughter has faced each day with grit. She’s a free spirit! 

Katie suggests that Darcy might want to talk to Electra. Darcy starts to blow up, but Dylan reins her mom in. Dylan says that Katie wanted to meet her mom, so here she is!

LOL! (I would have said the same thing). The only reason Dylan didn’t tell her mom about being homeless is because she didn’t want to scare her. She wanted her mom to be proud of her. Darcy has always been proud! 

Dylan knew she would have dragged her back home if she knew. She couldn’t fail. Darcy thanks Will for taking care of Dylan. 

The girl says she loves Will. The guy grins as Katie groans. Dylan says she’s not a homewrecker. Dylan’s dad walked out on them. Darcy raised Dylan on her own. The girl always dreamed of being a ballet dancer in the big city. 

Darcy continues listing all of Dylan’s good traits. Darcy tells Dylan that they don’t deserve her and they should go. Darcy does respect Katie for being a mama bear, though. They walk out, but Will chases after them. He asks Dylan not to leave. 

Electra Forrester’s Regrets

At FC, Electra’s phone goes off. It’s a one-year memory featuring Will. RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) is talking about meetings. He can see Electra is distracted.

The man wants her to open up. Electra is starting to think she made a mistake, but she can’t allow herself to mope. RJ says she can have more than one feeling at the same time. 

Electra thinks she overreacted. Things might not totally be Dylan’s fault. Will was just doing his job. However, now she’s having to keep secrets too. Electra admits she’s the one who dumped Will. RJ says her future still looks bright. 

RJ apologizes for coming on too strongly. It’s in the past and they can move on. They will be there for each other.
