The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Hope Crashes Thomas’ Wedding, Bill Sets His Sights On Brooke

The Bold And The Beautiful: Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes)The Thursday, July 9, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful, opens with 2020 rebroadcast of the doomed wedding of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). As Fan Favorite Showdowns week winds down, today’s face-off is between scheming Thomas and the object of his obsession, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), who also has a trick up her sleeve.

Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) chit-chats with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the happy couple not giving him much time to prepare to officiate the ceremony. Carter says that Thomas and Zoe appear to be very motivated to get married.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) discuss how upset Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is about the wedding and how much Hope loves Douglas. Steffy has an awful thought that strikes fear in Liam’s heart: what if Hope cracks and marries Thomas?

Hope asks Douglas to be brave and assures him that everything will work out okay. Thomas eavesdrops. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) jolts Thomas, insisting that he hurry downstairs to start the wedding and marry the woman he loves.

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) encourages Zoe to listen to her doubts about marrying Thomas. Zoe curtly thanks Brooke for her concern but says that she knows what she’s doing. Zoe feels overwhelmed at how quickly things are moving.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap Spoilers – Bill Spencer Is Thinking About Brooke Logan

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is at work at Spencer Publications but can’t keep his mind off kissing Brooke. Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) gibes his dad for daydreaming. Bill sulks about Thomas putting Brooke and her family through hell. Bill vows that someone will stop Thomas. Wyatt agrees that Thomas is a psycho and the wedding is one of his scams. Thomas is playing a game of chicken with Hope and Zoe. Bill wonders if Hope will stop the wedding on Douglas’ behalf.

Thomas watches Hope and Douglas with expectancy. Vinny demands that Thomas stop the wedding. Thomas tells his friend to chill—Hope will be the one who stops the ceremony. Thomas says that he overheard Hope telling Douglas that she would do whatever it takes to remain his mother. Douglas clings to Hope as the bridal march begins and Zoe walks down the aisle.

Carter begins the ceremony by saying that Thomas and Zoe’s story is one of forgiveness and redemption, of two people overcoming their mistakes and finding peace and appreciation for each other.

Douglas causes a scene as he begs Hope to stop the wedding. Douglas runs away and Hope chases after him. Zoe won’t let Thomas stop the wedding and go after them. She’s ready to make her commitment. Ridge agrees that they should continue the wedding without Douglas.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Stalls

Thomas stalls, wanting to wait until after Douglas returns. Thomas sweats, watching for Hope, as Zoe begins her vows. Zoe promises that she will be the kind of woman who makes him a better man and makes Douglas happy. Brooke shakes her head as Zoe professes her gratitude to Thomas.

When Carter asks Thomas to begin his vows, Thomas hesitates, still watching the door. Thomas admits to feeling overwhelmed but promises Zoe that he will be thankful for her every day. Before Zoe can put a ring on it, Thomas stops the ceremony to check on Douglas. He wants his son to be a part of the ceremony. Steffy advises her brother to trust Hope’s ability to care for Douglas. Zoe and Carter urge Thomas to finish the ceremony. Thomas relents.

Vinny, Brooke, and Liam watch breathlessly as Thomas places a ring on Zoe’s finger. Zoe says “I do” and waits for Thomas to say the words. Hope stuns Thomas when she interrupts the wedding wearing the gown he designed for her and holding Douglas’ hand.
