The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Liam And Steffy’s Honeymoon Takes A Wild Turn

Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) kicks off the Monday, July 13, 2020, episode of The Bold & the Beautiful from his pool. Summer Escapes Week will take viewers to amazing beaches in California, Mexico, and Australia where characters play in the sand, party, and make time for drama and romance. Today’s rebroadcast, which aired in 2012, kicks off Liam’s adventure in Cabo San Lucas.

Liam realizes that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has been hiding the fact that Thomas Forrester (Adam Gregory) and Hope Logan (Kimberly Matula) are staying at the same resort. He angrily confronts Steffy about her lie. He tries to attract Hope’s attention as she frolics on the beach with Thomas. Steffy cries when Liam runs off to find Hope.

Thomas spots Liam and tries to distract Hope with an ATV ride. Liam jumps onto an ATV and takes off after Thomas and Hope. Steffy, in a two-piece bikini, commandeers an ATV and follows the crowd.

A text from Thomas interrupts Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) afternoon siesta with her husband. Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss) tells a shocked Brooke that Thomas proposed to Hope. Brooke is relieved that Hope turned Thomas down. Hope is still in love with Liam and vice versa.

Allison Montgomery (Theodora Greece) informs a disgruntled Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that there’s been no word from Mexico. Enrique calls Bill to tell him that Liam is at the resort with Hope. Bill tells Allison that Liam is chasing Hope at the resort like a fool. Bill hopes Steffy will do damage control.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) drops by and demands to know what her husband is up to. He admits that he’s been helping Steffy preserve her marriage to Liam. He believes Hope is in Mexico pursuing Liam just like she did in Aspen. Hope is a nuisance and borderline stalker. Katie tells Bill not to interfere. Katie is disappointed that Bill is keeping things from her and putting Steffy’s needs ahead of hers.

Dayzee Leigh (Kristolyn Lloyd) finds Marcus Forrester (Texas Battle) behind Ridge’s desk at Forrester Creations while the boss plays hooky. He tempts her with a resort vacation in Cabo San Lucas. He’s going to ask Thomas about the resort when he returns with Hope from their business trip. Dayzee doubts that Thomas’ trip is strictly business.

Dayzee and Marcus make out. Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) interrupts. She finds the resort brochure. Marcus wants to know why Amber is acting strangely and visiting him at the office. He discovers that Hope and Thomas are staying at the same resort as Steffy and Liam. Amber says that there’s no way Hope would go after a married man.

Brooke is concerned that Liam, Steffy, Hope, and Thomas are together. Ridge brushes it off. He persuades Brooke not to call Hope. Steffy hasn’t had a chance to enjoy a real honeymoon with Liam.

Ridge tries to get Brooke in the bedroom mood again but she’s distracted by the shenanigans of their kids. She wonders if Steffy is up to her old tricks. Ridge says Liam is in love with Steffy and knows where his loyalties lie. There’s no way Liam will leave Steffy.

Back in Baja, Hope finally spots Liam and tells Thomas to stop the ATV, but Thomas guns it, trying to escape Liam. Steffy’s ATV sputters and she can’t keep up. Thomas is forced to stop when they get to the ocean. Liam runs up to Hope and kisses her passionately on the beach.

As the show ends, Scott Clifton returns to encourage viewers to keep it tuned to The Bold & the Beautiful for more summer escapes and summer love.
