The Bold and The Beautiful Recap Monday, December 23: Thomas Shows His True Colors – Liam Has A Bad Feeling

The Monday, December 23, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, opens with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) assuring Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that he has nothing to worry about. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is merely a means to an end: he’s the designer she needs to save her line and win the fashion showdown, nothing more. She will not be manipulated by him, ever again.

Meanwhile, Thomas shows his true colors as his obsession with Hope grows. He studies the drawing he made of himself kissing Hope and vows that they’ll be together soon. He later tells Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) that he’s happy about the divorce and believes that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) will finally bring his father happiness.

Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is completely on board with whatever Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) needs her to do to discover the truth about Thomas. Steffy suspects that her brother is still fixated on Hope. Both Thomas and Zoe hurt her so much, she’s not convinced they’ve changed. Steffy interrogates Zoe about her kiss with Thomas. Even Zoe can’t decide if the kiss was real or if it was perfectly timed to be seen by Hope. Zoe romanticizes Thomas’ live-on-the-edge personality, but Steffy fears that he will put Hope, Liam, and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) in harm’s way again. Thomas walks in on Zoe’s secret meeting with Steffy.

Bold and Beautiful Recap – Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan Argue

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) go round and round again over whether his son is really a changed man. Brooke believes that Thomas’ effort to change is all an act and he’s still dangerously obsessed with her daughter. Ridge says that Thomas has moved on with Zoe. Brooke has been researching psychotic behavior and Thomas checks all the boxes—he wants to steal Hope from Liam and Brooke from Ridge.

Ridge promises that Hope will be protected at the office. Ridge begs Brooke to forgive his son so that they can rip up the divorce papers. He expects her to forgive and forget for the sake of his son but he can’t understand why she’s terrified for her own daughter. Brooke believes that Thomas needs serious, professional help before something happens to Hope or before their marriage comes to an end.
