‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Monday, September 14: Pregnancy Bombshell, Confession Derailed & Husband Blindsided

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Monday, September 14, 2026. In today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) makes a life-altering decision.

John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is blindsided. Plus, Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) can feel a child is coming.

Pregnancy Shocker

Steffy tells Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that she’s pregnant. The COO congratulates Steffy on Finn becoming a father again.

Steffy clarifies that Carter is the father. Carter is shocked! Steffy says she hasn’t been that way with Finn in a while. It can only be Carter’s baby. Steffy says there is zero chance that the baby belongs to Finn. 

Steffy needs to confess. Carter urges her to wait. Steffy wants her marriage to survive this betrayal. Finn should hate her! Carter talks about how this is going to ruin all of their lives. Steffy still wants to be honest. 

Li Finnegan’s Encouragement

At the hospital, Finn talks to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). They gush about how wonderful Steffy is. Li thinks her son handled Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) the best way he could.

Finn knows putting his foot down is the best thing. Finn thinks the fallout has been dealt with, and everything is okay now. 

Finn gets a call about a research project. He declines as he needs to put his wife first. Li gushes about her son. Sometimes it scares Finn how much he loves Steffy. 

The topic changes to Carter and Daphne. 

Ridge Forrester’s Support

At the office, Daphne and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are working while talking about company challenges. Daphne is more devoted to FC than ever.

Ridge truly believes that Daphne and Carter will have a child. The Nose is trying to stay positive. They talk about Finn and Steffy’s support. The Nose thinks SINN is the perfect role model for a marriage. 

Ridge admits Finn made a mistake in Monaco, but he made it right. Daphne feels lucky like that with Carter, too. Ridge knew that when Steffy met Finn, she would always be loyal to him. (Writer’s Note: Hello, did the writers forget about her last baby daddy storyline?)

Sixth Sense

Daphne appreciates that she has Steffy in her life. Ridge thinks Daphne and Carter are perfect together and will have a long marriage with lots of kids.

Carter joins the conversation. Carter asks for a moment alone with Daphne. The Nose is sure their child is coming, she can feel it! 

At home, Steffy cries. Finn arrives and can see his wife is upset. Steffy can’t move on! Finn promises he’ll never let her down again. There’s something he needs to know.
