‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Monday, September 7: Steffy & Carter Squirm, Finn’s Awkward Dinner Trap & Will Defies Katie

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Monday, September 7, 2026. In today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is blindsided by a surprise dinner.

Meanwhile, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) defends Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock).

Emotional Plea

Will asks Dylan not to leave. Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) starts smiling. Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) doesn’t seem as thrilled. Katie vents about how character is important and that’s why she shouldn’t be with Will.

Darcy interjects and says her daughter isn’t a gold digger. Will has had enough. Dylan has never played the victim card with him, he says. That’s one of the things he respects about her. 

Will and Darcy gush about how amazing Dylan is. The girl turns red. Will says Katie embarrasses him all the time, too. Dylan does have some problems with boundaries, though.

Will is glad he met Darcy. He says Dylan is full of class. Will thinks his mom is wrong about the girl. Darcy appreciates how kind he is towards Dylan. 

Giving In

Katie says this all happened right after Will got dumped by the love of his life. Katie does admit she learned a few things, too. Katie exits. 

Will offers Darcy the room above the garage. Dylan wants her mom at her place. Darcy says Dylan has never let anyone down and never will. Darcy exits.

Dylan wraps her arms around Will’s shoulders. Him defending her was so hot, she says. Darcy is calling for her daughter. Dylan says she loves him and they kiss. 

Surprise Dinner

At FC, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is trying to work. Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) enters and says John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) invited them over for dinner. Carter doesn’t want to go.

Daphne says she has medical questions for Finn. Daphne texts Finn to say they will be there. Carter is getting nervous. The Nose asks if something is wrong. Carter just stares at the passion-stained couch.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Blindsided

At Casa de la SINN, Steffy stares at her wedding pictures. Finn comes in with food. He invited guests over for dinner. He says it’s Carter and Daphne.

Finn texted her, but the phone was charging. Steffy acts like she’s cool with it. Finn mentions he knows how close Steffy is with Carter. It will be a light dinner with friends. 

Finn still feels awful about keeping the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) truth from her. He’s so sorry. He knows Steffy would never keep any secrets from him.

Steffy’s eyes get big. She pours wine. If they didn’t have guests coming, he would give her a massage. They both keep apologizing to each other. 

Daphne and Carter enter. They all sip wine. Daphne appreciates Steffy’s support. Their friendship means everything to her.

It also led her to find the man of her dreams: Carter. The couple is determined to have a family. The lady mentions that Steffy and Finn are their role models for an honest marriage. Finn kisses Steffy’s hand as she looks guilt-stricken.
