The Bold And The Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Friday October 23: Thomas Canoodles With His Mannequin, Zende Gets A Surprise

The Friday, October 23, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) teetering on the brink of a nervous breakdown. He fears he’s losing his mind as he converses with a mannequin bearing an uncanny resemblance to the object of his obsession, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Thomas tries to put the mannequin back in the box and return it to Forrester Creations, but the mannequin doesn’t want to go back. Thomas grapples with allowing mannequin Hope to stay with him.

The mannequin says that she’s missed him. She doesn’t want to stay with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Mr. Flip-Flop who has one eye on Hope and one on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). She’s lonely and wants Thomas. Thomas sweats as he debates keeping the mannequin.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Forrester Invites Her Daughter To Dinner

At Forrester, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) invites her daughter to dinner. Brooke wants to know what’s bothering Hope. Hope shows Brooke Thomas’ promising new design and considers adding him to the team at Hope for the Future. She believes he’s committed to becoming a better person.

Brooke thinks Thomas wants another chance with Hope, not just with Hope for the Future. Brooke hopes Thomas is improving, but it’s hard not to question his motives. There’s a chance he’s still obsessed with Hope. Hope promises to be vigilant.

Hope wonders what went wrong with Thomas. Brooke floats the idea that the problems with Thomas stem from having Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) as a mother. Brooke isn’t sure it’s possible that he’ll ever recover when he’s so psychologically imbalanced.

Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) makes Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) his muse. He studies a sketch using Zoe as the model and daydreams about the time they spent together. Julius Avant (Obba Babatunde) surprises Zende in his office and notices how intensely he’s looking at the design. Julius says that it must be hard finding his inspiration again since Zende once said he sees Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards) in every design. Julius says that learning of Zende’s separation from Nicole was hard on him and Vivienne Avant (Anna Maria Horsford).

B&B Spoilers – Zende Forrester Wants The Best For Nicole Forrester Dominguez

Zende assures Julius that he will always love Nicole and wants the best for her. Julius renders Zende speechless when he says that, no matter what happened between Nicole and Zende, he’ll always be proud to call Zende his son. Avants don’t turn their backs on each other, together or apart. Julius says Zende is a fine young man with a good heart and promises to be there if he needs advice. Zende appreciates the continued support.

Zende says he’s not dating but he’s attracted to a woman at Forrester. Julius advises him to move on with his life, no matter how complicated it may be. Zende worries that moving on with his life may hurt someone else. Julius tells him that stepping aside to allow his friend to pursue his love interest will only hurt everyone involved.

Zende takes the advice to heart and makes a play for Zoe. He texts Zoe and tells her not to move too fast with Carter. Zende asks her to meet him at the office. He replays the video of Zoe singing for him and waits for her.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) gives Zoe the special treatment. They enjoy an intimate candlelit dinner in his loft. Zoe is charmed by Carter’s warmth and compassion. Carter knows exactly how he feels about Zoe: he’s completely fallen in love with her. He promises not to abandon her like all the other men in her life have. The rest of their lives can start tonight if she’s willing. Carter kisses Zoe.
