The Bold And The Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Monday, September 21: Liam’s Disturbing Discovery, Addicted Steffy In Denial

The Monday, September 21, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens at the cliff house where Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is having a medical emergency. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is horrified to find Steffy unresponsive on the couch. He screams at her and tries to shake her awake. She finally sits up groggy, wondering what happened. When she tries to stand up, she falls back. Liam isn’t buying Steffy’s excuse that she just fell asleep.

She blasts him for interrogating her. He says he’s concerned that Steffy’s relationship with her doctor may cloud the doctor’s judgment. He doesn’t want her recovery in the hands of someone who can’t be objective. Steffy becomes combative and defensive. She’s done with Liam and his fake concern. She doesn’t need him babysitting her. She’s just fine on her own. Liam realizes that Steffy is anything but fine. Steffy is in denial.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester And Hope Logan At The Cabin

At the cabin, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) take a break from playing with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to chat. Thomas admires the love and devotion Hope feels for their son. Hope thanks Thomas for listening to her and doing the work on himself to become a better father to Douglas. She’s grateful to him for sharing Douglas with her. Thomas says that he wants his son to have every advantage in life, including Hope as a mother. He wishes he had more time with his son, but Douglas deserves to spend his time with his mother and siblings in such a wonderful environment.

Hope is not pleased that Liam is off rescuing Steffy, but she realizes that Liam chose her and not Steffy. She’s come to terms with the fact that Steffy has been a constant in their relationship since the beginning. She hopes Steffy is ready to move on. Thomas is annoyed that Steffy keeps taking Liam back after he hurts her. She’s hopeful that John Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) will be just what the doctor ordered for Steffy. She doesn’t believe Finn will be her doctor for much longer. The way Steffy looks at him, Finn has the potential to change Steffy’s life for the better.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Wonders

Hope wonders if Liam has a point about the doctor being untrustworthy and Hope just doesn’t want to see it because she’s invested in Steffy moving on with another man. Thomas believes Liam’s concerns are all jealousy. Thomas is bugged that Liam tries to control Hope and Steffy. Steffy doesn’t need Liam policing her social life. Thomas believes Finn came right on time for Steffy. She deserves joy in her life after enduring so much. Thomas and Hope agree that Liam needs to back off Steffy. Thomas encourages Hope to tell Liam how disrespectful it is to her to keep inserting himself into Steffy’s life. The best thing Liam can do for Steffy and Hope is to stay away from Steffy.

Thomas and Hope bond over their love of Douglas. Thomas is excited that Douglas has a good pitching arm and they can explore sports together. He thanks her again for caring for his son. She says that Douglas loves Thomas and has forgotten the mistakes of his past.

Steffy tells Liam to get off her case and go home to Hope. Liam asks Steffy an important question: is she still taking the pain meds? She says the doctor refused to give her more and there are no pills in the house. He calls her a liar. Steffy is withholding something from him. Steffy is miffed that he doesn’t trust her and demands that he leave. Liam searches the living room and finds the bottle of pills under the couch cushions. Steffy proves to Liam that she’s been lying.
