The Bold and the Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Thursday May 28: Steffy Uses Thomas To Shut Lope Down, Amber At War With Beverly

The Thursday, May 28, 2020, The Bold & The Beautiful, which first aired in 2011, continues its “Celebrity Week” with Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez playing Beverly, a Forrester intern.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) can’t believe that, of all the places in the world her brother could take Hope Logan (Kimberly Matula), he brought her to the same hotel as she and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in Cabo San Lucas. Later, Liam lounges by the pool and checks out a photo of Hope on his iPad. Steffy’s jealous flares. She tries to get Liam to change hotels, but he refuses to leave.

Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) calls to check up on Hope. She should be in Mexico with Liam, not Thomas Forrester (Adam Gregory). Hope says that Liam is off on a romantic getaway with his wife. Rick believes that it’s only a matter of time before there’s trouble in paradise.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Beverly And Amber Moore Face Off

Beverly and Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) have a run-in at the office. Amber warns Beverly to keep her hands off Rick. Amber flirts with Rick in front of Beverly. Rick tells Beverly that being a successful designer takes talent, drive, and perseverance, which she obviously has. Amber is less than thrilled when Rick asks her to mentor Beverly. Amber kisses him goodbye to make a point in front of Beverly.

As soon as Amber leaves, Beverly blurts out that she can’t believe he was married to that. Rick chuckles. Beverly says that Amber is an unlikely choice for him. Rick says he didn’t choose Amber but she was his babysitter and got under his skin. He’s had more of a checkered past than she realized. Amber has been through the wringer as well. He’s surprised that Beverly is so easy to talk to.

Back in Mexico, Steffy falls to the ground to hide when she sees Hope at the pool and Liam heading in Hope’s direction. She summons Liam under the guise of finding her ring.

Next On Bold and Beautiful: Steffy Uses Thomas To Split Up Liam and Hope

Thomas tries to hide Hope from Liam. He and Steffy realize that they’re stuck. She encourages him to make it happen with Hope. Thomas doubts that he can when he and Hope are in separate rooms. He says that maneuvering and playing people like chess pieces is her style, not his.

She promises that she’ll have him engaged to Hope by the time they head back to Los Angeles. She will help him create romance. The connection between Hope and Liam needs to be shut down for good and the only way it can happen is if Hope fully commits to Thomas. She urges Thomas to sweep her off her feet. They agree to keep Liam and Hope on separate sides of the resort.

Liam waits for his wife at the oceanside restaurant. He spots a fashion magazine with a photo of him and Hope. He reminisces about the time they spent together. He wonders what’s taking Steffy so long to come to dinner.
