The Tuesday, February 16, 2021, The Bold & the Beautiful, recap and spoilers opens at the hospital where Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Finn Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) prod Steffy’s doctor to say that Finn is the baby’s father. Liam and Hope hold hands. The doctor shocks everyone with unexpected news: Liam is the babydaddy, not Finn.

Steffy demands the doctor re-run the test. The doctor promises that the test if 99 percent accurate. Their confusion and shock will fade once the baby is born.

Hope shakes off Liam’s hand and unleashes on Steffy and Liam for destroying their lives with one night. She runs out with Liam following. Steffy cries to Finn, apologizing for her mistake.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Paternity Results

At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) await word on the paternity test results. Thomas and Brooke agree that Finn being the father would help both families move on with their lives. Thomas announces that he’s ready physically and emotionally to move out of their home. His son needs him to be a focused, healthy father. Steffy might need him too.

Brooke is praying that Steffy is carrying Finn’s child. No one wants Liam to be the father, including Thomas. Brooke fears that, if Liam is the father, Thomas will jump on the opportunity to manipulate Hope. Thomas promises that he’s learned from his mistakes and only wants Hope and Steffy to be happy. Thomas vows to keep making Ridge proud.

Ridge suggests they go home so that Brooke can be there for his daughter, no matter what happens. Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) pays his old buddy a visit. He notices how tense Thomas is. Thomas worries about Steffy, who is waiting on the results of the paternity test. Vinny says that Thomas will have an opening with Hope if Liam is the father. Thomas doesn’t want to hear it, because it would kill Hope. Vinny argues that Thomas could be there to pick up the pieces. Thomas says that working with and coparenting with Hope will be enough for him. Vinny says Thomas has never cared for a woman the way he cares for Hope. He encourages his friend not to give up: where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Ridge assures Brooke that the kids will be okay no matter what happens. Ridge says he was proud of Steffy for moving on from Liam and starting a new life with Finn. Brooke says that they’ll only have peace if the test turns out the way they hope. Ridge is just glad that they aren’t arguing about their kids anymore. Whatever happens, they’ll get through it together.

Steffy and Finn return to the cliff house in a daze. She doesn’t want her daughter to see her like this. They pace the room, trying to make sense of the test results. Finn laments that he had already fallen in love with the baby. He wanted to bond with the baby like Steffy has bonded with Kelly Spencer. He doesn’t know how he fits in, now that she’s having a baby with Liam again.

Liam follows Hope back to the cabin. She doesn’t want to talk. It’s impossible to start a new chapter for their family now that he’s having another child with Steffy. They went through hell to get their life back. They had a second chance with baby Beth and now Liam threw it away. She’s sorry that she trusted her heart to a man who would think so lowly of her that she would betray him. It hurts that he gave up on her so easily and jumped into bed with Steffy.

Liam claims that he wants her and the kids. Steffy’s pregnancy doesn’t mean their marriage has to end. He will always love Hope.
