The Bold and the Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Tuesday Feb 17: Liam Begs Hope To Stay With Him, Bridget Surprises Brooke

The Bold & the Beautiful recap and spoilers for Wednesday Feb 17 begins with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) struggling to regain their footing after learning that Liam is the father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby. Liam believes that they can still make their marriage work. He wants to correct his mistake.

Hope is sick of her husband’s apologies. He slept with Steffy and is having another child with her. She wonders why he would jeopardize his family after everything they’d been through. One moment of insecurity and Liam threw it all away.

Liam appeals to Hope’s optimism and ability to see the best in everyone, including him. He begs her not to give up on them, not to stop believing in their family.

Hope can’t make sense of why Liam turned to Steffy before turning to his wife, who loves him more than anything. Hope collapses under the weight of her despair. Liam consoles her as she weeps. Liam says there’s nothing they can’t overcome. He will spend the rest of his life protecting their love and family if she lets him. Hope considers whether to give her husband another chance.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Isn’t Sure

At the cliff house, Steffy isn’t sure when she’ll tell her daughter about the new baby. Finn Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) says that Kelly Spencer will be excited about having a new sibling. Finn is troubled by the photo of Steffy and Liam hanging over the mantle, but he promises that they’ll make it work somehow. Steffy wishes her baby was Finn’s. She gives Finn an out. He would never walk away: he loves her too much.

Finn is angry at the situation. He wanted to know what it felt like to be an expectant father. He had already picked out baby names. It’ll be hard for Finn to watch Liam playing father to the baby. Steffy had planned to name the child after Finn. She pleads that their love can get them through this. They can have a child of their own one day. A future without him is unthinkable. She begs him not to give up on them.

B&B Spoilers – Vinny Walker Wants Honesty

At Forrester Creations, Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) asks his friend to be honest with him: Doesn’t Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) really want the baby to be Liam’s? Then, Thomas will have an honest shot at Hope. Thomas dodges the question.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is confident that the test results will reveal that Finn is the father. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has her doubts. Ridge reaches out to his daughter. Brooke and Ridge reel over Steffy’s news that the baby is Liam’s. They worry about Hope.

Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) drops in unexpectedly and realizes that something’s very wrong. Brooke and Ridge give her the news that the child isn’t Finn’s. Bridget assures them that Hope will make it work for the child’s sake. Hope puts her own heartbreak aside and does what needs to be done when family is involved.

Ridge calls Thomas and breaks the news that the baby is Liam’s. Thomas says that the only thing that matters is how Hope feels. Vinny says Thomas is a good person. He deserves to be happy. Thomas would love to be with Hope, but he won’t interfere. Vinny encourages Thomas to grab onto what he’s always wanted for him and his son: a life with Hope.
