‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, April 17: Sheila’s Family Plea, Liam’s Hospital Declaration, Hope’s Intuition

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, April 17, 2025, is finally here! In today’s episode, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) issues a plea to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Meanwhile, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) listens to Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) concerns about Finn, Sheila, and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). (Make sure to check out our next week B&B spoilers, here!)
Liam Spencer’s Concern
Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Finn are talking to Liam and Steffy about the prognosis. Liam wants to know how long until he can leave. The doctors don’t want to rush anything. SINN kiss before the doctor exits.
Bridget leaves to check on other patients. Liam talks about how grateful he is to be alive. Liam mentions how great Steffy and Finn are for each other.
Liam is happy for his ex-wife, although there is a sadness in his voice. Liam asks about Finn’s daughter.
Bridget comes over and discusses how crazy it is about Luna. When STEAM debates about the risk, Bridget awkwardly exits.
Liam is worried about the kids safety. Steffy is furious with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and she’s fighting to get Luna back in prison. That’s her fight, Liam’s is to get better, she says.
Liam says his fight gets easier if he’s not worrying about Luna influencing Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras). Liam asks if Finn feels the same way, that Luna should be locked away forever?
Steffy says it’s complicated. Liam knows Finn is a good man, but that can work against him sometimes. The patient adds that Finn has had trouble saying no to two women who both tried to kill her.
Steffy believes Finn won’t allow them to be a part of their lives.

Li Finnegan’s Warning
Alone in his office at the hospital, Finn is working. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) interrupts and can tell her son is not okay. Li assumes it’s about Luna being his daughter.
They rehash Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa’s (Romy Park) sick seduction all those years ago. Li thinks Luna and Poppy are alike. Li also orders her son to stay far away from Luna, daughter or not.
The younger doctor assures his mother that Luna will never be a part of his life. It could have been different, but Poppy lied for all those years.
Sheila Carter Sharpe’s Mission
At Il Giardino, Sheila is looking forward to spending more time with Luna since Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is busy. Luna wishes she didn’t have to sneak around.
Sheila vows to make sure Deacon accepts the pardoned killer. Sheila brings up Finn. Luna gets emotional talking about her father. Sheila rants about Poppy abandoning her child and keeping her away from Finn.
Luna mentions that Steffy would never allow her to have a relationship with her dad.
Even if Luna were good, Finn will never know or be able to be proud of her. Sheila promises they will fight to have Finn part of their lives.
Sheila rants about Steffy and everything she’s done. Sheila won’t allow Steffy to get away with this any longer!
Hope Logan’s Intuition
Meanwhile, Bold and the Beautiful recaps for Thursday’s show reveal Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) says she’s hanging in there by a thread. Deacon believes better things are coming for his daughter.
Deacon says if life doesn’t give her a break, then she needs to make her own. Hope brings up Sheila’s granddaughter and the two murders.
Deacon and Hope are on the same page about Sheila and Luna. Deacon explains he gave his wife an ultimatum, and she chose him. Sheila can never choose Luna – ever.
Hope brings up Sheila’s history of obsession, and she could want to be in Luna’s orbit. Deacon doesn’t think there is any reason to worry, but Hope does.
Hope feels for Steffy in this situation.

At the hospital, Sheila enters Finn’s office. Finn is angry and orders her out now! Sheila doesn’t leave and talks about being a grandma to Luna.
Finn reminds Sheila of all the crimes Luna committed. The grandmother insists that Luna is reformed and needs her father in her life.
Finn says, “Blood or no blood, Luna is no daughter of mine!”

This show has gone to the dogs since Sheila and Luna came on the show. It’s getting disgusting to watch how these writers thinks that revamping Sheila and Luna is a good idea it’s not and it’s turning off viewers. What happened to the fashion shows or the designs.
