‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, Aug 14: Steffy’s Wedding Ring Bombshell, Finn’s Betrayal, Daphne’s Paris Escape!

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, August 13, 2026. In today’s episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) gets punished.

Meanwhile, Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) leaves Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Freaks

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) orders Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) to stay away from her.

(Writer’s Note: Well, Steffy, you are the one who approached Sheila, not the other way around).

Steffy threatens to call the cops. Finn says Sheila isn’t stalking them. Finn knew!?!? Steffy starts freaking out. Finn planned this!

Sheila defends Finn, but Steffy keeps freaking out. Sheila is going home, but she has a few hours before her flight leaves.

Steffy can’t believe Sheila and Finn flew together. He never said anything to her! Finn didn’t want to ruin things. Sheila just wants a chance, Finn reasons. 

Steffy says it’s not happening. Finn brings up Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

This is Steffy’s sacred place! Finn says Sheila has changed. Steffy takes off her wedding ring and throws it at Finn, then runs away like the spoiled toddler she is.

Finn just stands there stunned. Sheila apologizes. Finn tells her to stay away! Finn chases after Steffy as the church bells ring. 

Meanwhile, Steffy gets on the jet and holds bubbly. She can’t believe this is happening and just needs to get away. 

Odd Meetings

In the hotel room, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) discuss the odd European meetings.

They are all talking about Logan, he says. Ridge suggests they try relaxing. Brooke whines about Katie. Ridge tries to seduce his wife. Brooke starts talking about Steffy and Finn.

Ridge admires Brooke’s grace. Brooke gushes about having a solid man. (Writer’s Note: More like thick in the skull, but whatever.) They toast to themselves as they eat caviar. Eww. They gush over each other. 

Daphne Rose Walton’s Fight

At FC, Carter tries to talk to Daphne. The man has options he wants to discuss regarding having a family. They can get through this together.

Daphne says her ovaries are useless. Carter brings up IVF. That way, she could still carry a child. Daphne whines about it being unfair.

(Writer’s Note: Well, that’s life, buttercup. Suck it up.) The Nose is a failure, she claims. Daphne thinks he’s just being nice.

Carter says they have each other; that’s all that should matter. The Nose disagrees and pushes him away. The Nose thinks this is a sign that they aren’t meant to be together.

Carter reminds her of the life they have already. She can’t fit into his life. Carter is confused. Daphne continues feeling sorry for herself and decides to run away to Paris.

(Writer’s Note: Always running away to Paris, that girl. Be careful, Nose; one day Carter will stop running after you.
