The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, Thursday August 22: Thomas Blames Douglas For Everything

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 22 finds Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) reuniting with his young son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). But it won’t be the kind of reunion that will leave them with warm and fuzzy feelings.

Also, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) has an idea for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) admits to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that he messed up with his son. Elsewhere, Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) is feeling irritated with Thomas.

It begins at the cabin, where Liam is worried about Thomas coming over to see Hope. Hope mentions how odd it is that Thomas hasn’t mentioned anything about his son. Liam thinks Douglas should see his father so he doesn’t think that he’s dead too.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Vincent Walker Is Becoming Annoyed

Hope thinks about the future and tells Liam she sees Douglas as a part of their family. Both agree that Douglas would be better off with them than with someone as unstable as Thomas. Liam tells Hope not to pick up the phone if Thomas calls her.

At Vinny’s apartment, Vinny makes it pretty clear that he’s not happy having Thomas around. Thomas gives him his credit card and tells him to buy whatever he needs. Thomas then starts thinking about his son Douglas and calls him a brat. Vinny doesn’t like hearing him use that kind of language about his son. Thomas says that he still has some things to talk about when he sees Douglas.

At Brooke’s mansion, Douglas is getting ready to go to the zoo with his nanny. He asks Brooke and Ridge about his father. Ridge admits that he doesn’t know when Thomas will be back but adds that everyone misses him. Ridge is upset. Brooke tells him that she finds it odd that Thomas hasn’t reached out to his son. Brooke also says that it would be a good idea for Thomas to get his life together for his son.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Admits Failing As A Father

In Douglas’ room, his nanny gets a phone call from Thomas. He manages to convince her to bring Douglas to Vincent’s apartment. Back downstairs, Brooke once again mentions to Ridge that Douglas needs his father and that they need to find him before he does something regrettable. Ridge admits that he failed as a father and that he didn’t teach his son how to use his opportunities and advantages in life.

Back at Vinny’s Thomas tells the nanny to leave as he wants some alone time with Douglas. Thomas begins by asking Douglas many different questions. He finds out that Hope and Liam are living in the cabin.

He then starts hollering at his son and blames him for telling everyone that Beth was still alive. Thomas is shaking and scared of his father.
