‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, August 27: Darcy Dylan Debuts, Katie Grills Melissa, Brooke’s Hope Heartbreak

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, August 27, 2026. In today’s episode, Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) debuts. Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) gets grilled.

Plus, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) talks about losing Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle).

Making Out at Work

At FC, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke don’t have enough work to do, so they make out. The blonde manages to pull away long enough to ask him about a meeting.

It was boring, but the meeting with RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) was interesting, he says. RJ has a way to stick it to Logan.

(Writer’s Note: How about improving your craft instead of worrying about revenge? Oh yeah, because they are insecure, threatened, and can’t focus on their own issues). 

Ridge tells her about RJ’s idea. Brooke’s eyes get wide with shock, but she quickly covers. The blonde says it sounds promising.

It’s hurtful, but she understands. The betrayal is still painful to Brooke. I get that, too. You thought someone was one way, and they turned out to be a monster instead. I’m still on Hope’s side, though.

Ridge and Brooke wish Hope would have just come to them. The blonde explains why she’s so upset about this. 

Deacon Sharpe’s Support

Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Hope get caught up. The daughter is impressed with the Bikini. The new review is amazing.

Hope asks about Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Deacon half-heartedly says good. Hope isn’t convinced. The dad starts talking about the proposal. However, Taylor didn’t say yes. 

Hope gets what Taylor said, but she knows her dad is disappointed. Deacon wants to talk about Logan. Hope says things are great. She just wishes her mom could be happy for her. 

Deacon is proud of Hope and Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) is doing amazing. Deacon thinks that Brooke will come to appreciate Hope’s new job.

Hope isn’t too sure, but she hopes so. Hope is really proud of her work, and what Logan has done. She just wishes her mother could be proud of her, too. 

Will Spencer Warned

Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) makes it to work finally. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) commends his son for actually coming to work. Will says he had a sleepover.

Bill assumes it’s Electra. Bill is proud that his son is sowing his wild oats. Will says Katie isn’t too happy about it. 

Will has to explain about Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and Dylan. Bill says that’s messy. Bill thinks this is all very funny.

Will says Katie thinks Dylan is out to get him. Bill reminds him that Katie loves fiercely, but is overprotective. Bill does agree that Will should learn more about Dylan before trusting her.

Will calls his father paranoid. Bill explains why they have to be cautious. Will knows that Dylan is sincere, although her mom did subscribe to Eye on Fashion. 

Will cares about Dylan, so Bill tries to tread carefully. Bill thinks Will can have fun with Dylan, but he needs to be careful. They need to know more about the girl.

Katie Logan Spencer’s Interrogation

Katie gets off a work call as Dylan, now dressed, emerges from the bedroom. Katie has questions and wants answers.

Dylan seems to have everything rehearsed and sounds way too nice. (Trust me, Katie, if someone is nice, it’s an act. I learned this the hard way.)

Dylan admits they live in different worlds, but she is sincere. She mentions she’s an artist and a dancer. She doesn’t really say anything about herself except that she loves Will. Dylan says what you see is what you get, I promise. 

Katie gives her speech. She sees someone who came to L.A. to be an art teacher at the beach house. (Remember, the beach house was used as a temporary art school for kids).

Then, Katie brings up Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann). Dylan says Remy just gave her interview tips. She says she had no idea of the deepfaking or stalking. 

Katie brings up that Dylan befriended Remy’s victim. Dylan says they didn’t grow up in the same town and weren’t close. 

Katie brings up Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and lived at the beach house. Dylan says she was homeless. Katie interjects, which led to a job at FC. Dylan offers to tell Katie whatever she wants to know. The girl says she has nothing to hide. 

Dylan says she’s a typical Midwestern girl. She was always in dance class and went to the county fair every year. She learned how to drive on gravel roads.

Katie brings up Eye on Fashion magazine. Katie asks if she’s close with her mother. Dylan says she guesses so. Katie suggests that Dylan’s mother come to L.A. to visit.

Katie wants to meet Dylan’s mother. Katie adds that she knows where her son’s heart lies, and it’s not with Dylan.

Before leaving, Katie sees a framed picture of Will and Electra. The lady mentions that is the girl who Will loves. With that, Katie walks out the door.

Darcy Dylan Debuts

Dylan calls her mom. She asks Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) to come for a visit. Dylan quickly updates her on the apartment and boyfriend.

Darcy wants to know the name of the boy, but Dylan won’t say. Dylan says the boy’s mother wants to meet her. Darcy stops folding laundry and gets a stern look on her face.

She asks, “Melissa Nicole Dylan, are you pregnant?” Dylan says no. Darcy wants to interrogate her daughter about details, but Dylan convinces her just to come ASAP. They agree and hang up.
