The Bold & the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 27, 2020, kicks off with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) brags that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) are consummating their marriage at that very moment. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will believe it when he sees it. Quinn’s theory doesn’t hold water. Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) told Bill that Ridge was giving Shauna annulment papers, not a booty call.

Bill wonders if Ridge eavesdropped on his intimate conversation with Brooke. Ridge may have overheard Brooke say that she’d always love Bill.

Quinn gets on Bill’s nerves when she hangs out in his office, analyzing Ridge’s possible reaction to Brooke’s confession. Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is shocked when she drops by Bill’s office and hears about Bill’s latest betrayal with her sister. Quinn blabs that Bill professed his undying love to Brooke and, in return, Brooke said she’d always love Bill. Katie wants an explanation.

She realizes that Bill and Brooke’s kiss meant more to him than he claimed. Bill confesses that he told Brooke he loved her. Bill tried to work things out with Katie, but she pushed him away. Katie says that she needed time. She came to Bill’s office to put their family back together and give their child both of his parents back. She missed him. She was ready to move past what happened between him and Brooke, but the Brooke problem will never go away. Bill doesn’t want Katie. He wants her sister. Katie is tired of Brooke being the third wheel in their relationship. She can’t understand what Brooke does for Bill that she can’t.

Bill cops to his feelings for Brooke and his miserable treatment of Katie. Katie says that they’ll always have the beautiful memories. She can’t give Bill another chance and let him break her heart again.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Demands To Know Why

Brooke demands to know why Shauna is in Ridge’s bed. What happened to his plan to annul the marriage to Shauna? Ridge admits that he overheard her conversation with Bill. Brooke is confused about why he’s so angry. She can’t control what Bill does or says. Ridge calls Brooke on her lies. After she told Ridge she had no feelings for Bill, she turned around and told Bill she’d always love him for the rest of her life.

Brooke promises that she wants Ridge, not Bill. She explains that she is fond of Bill, just as she is fond of Eric Forrester (John McCook), her other ex-husband. Her love for Bill is not the deep love she feels for Ridge. Brooke encourages Ridge to fight for their relationship instead of turning to Shauna.

Quinn comes home to find Shauna sitting in the dark in the living room. Brooke, the buzzkill, is talking to Ridge in his bedroom. Shauna is disappointed that her evening with Ridge was cut short by Brooke.
