The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 8, 2024, is finally here! On today’s episode, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) tells Katie Logan (Heather Tom) about Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) backpack.

B&B recap for Thursday, August 8 reveal that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are back in L.A. At Forrester Creations, Brooke updates everyone about what happened in Monte Carlo.

The discussion turns to Brooke going viral on social media. Ridge says that Brooke’s Bedroom is back and better than ever. 

Brooke inquires about Tom and Paul “Hollis” Hollister’s (Hollis W. Chambers) deaths at Il Giardino. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) reports there are no new updates.

They all discuss the murders and are baffled that Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) is innocent. Everyone ponders if Sheila didn’t kill them, then who did?

B&B Spoilers – Il Giardino Murders

Katie mentions they all need to stay on guard, then vanishes without explaining. Everyone is rattled by Katie’s behavior, so Carter races to check on her.

RJ announces he has to leave to see Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). Ridge reminds RJ to pick up the pizza. 

At Il Giardino, Deacon is on the phone with another reporter. Deacon assures them the restaurant is safe. Suddenly, Katie is there and has questions.

At least Katie offers her condolences. I don’t remember Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doing that.

Deacon is surprised to learn that Katie is suspicious of Poppy rather than Sheila. Deacon adds that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was a fool to let Katie go. Katie confesses she gets a weird vibe from Poppy.

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 8 reveals that at the Spencer mansion, Bill tells Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about Will’s return.

Liam finds out that Will walked in on Bill and Poppy in bed. Then, Bill tells Liam about Luna walking in and calling him dad.

Bill wanted Will to accept Luna as his sister, but that didn’t happen. Liam admits that Bill’s expectations were a bit high. 

At the same time, Liam assures Bill that Will is resilient. Liam is confident that his little brother will eventually come around.

Over at Poppy’s apartment, she and Luna discuss Tom’s backpack. Poppy still says she doesn’t know how the backpack got into the apartment.

Poppy tells Luna that Bill knows about Tom’s daddy claim and their past. Poppy admits when Tom showed up at the mansion, she took matters into her own hands. Luna is disturbed and asks her mother to clarify what she means by that statement.

Poppy claims she only wanted to stop Tom’s lies. Poppy says that Tom must’ve snuck the backpack in there. Well, the only problem with that is the backpack was seen at Il Giardino AFTER the murders, Poppy.

B&B Recap – Thursday, August 8, 2024

When Poppy leaves to see Bill, RJ comes in to see a rattled Luna. RJ wants to know what’s wrong. Luna doesn’t know how to explain it, so she shows him Tom’s letters and backpack.

Luna also emotionally tells RJ that she isn’t sure how the backpack got to the apartment. Luna also tells RJ about Poppy confronting Tom the night he died.

Luna knows this means her mother had both motive and opportunity. RJ tells Luna they will figure this out.

Later, RJ goes to get the pizza from Il Giardino for Ridge. RJ sees Katie and Deacon talking about Poppy. When Deacon steps away, RJ tells Katie he has confidential information about Tom’s murder.

RJ tells Katie about Luna’s discovery.  As Katie reasons Poppy is guilty of two murders, Poppy shows up at Bill’s house.
