‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, January 22: Dylan’s Chicken Sin, Steffy vs Deacon, Electra’s Confrontation

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, January 22, 2026. In today’s episode, fans can expect Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) to be furious at Dylan (Sydney Bullock).

Meanwhile, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) confronts Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

Dylan’s Job Search

Dylan is filling out a job application in her bedroom. Then, she makes some calls, but nothing that pans out.

At Forrester Creations, a receptionist applicant thanks Steffy for her support. The girl says she’s been an intern for over a year now. The blonde mentions everyone is happy that RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) is back, then exits. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!)

Will Spencer Explains

Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) enters and talks to Steffy about the upcoming trip. Steffy mentions having to give the receptionist job to the intern. Maybe Dylan can be an intern instead?

Electra leaves to go see Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) in another office. They talk about the chicken dinner. Will says Dylan at Electra’s chicken.

Will promises her extra when she gets back. Electra wonders how he ended up having dinner with Dylan.

Electra Forrester’s Confrontation

Will explains how it happened and didn’t want the chicken going to waste. Well, there is a thing called a refrigerator, Will.

People reheat dinners all the time! Electra doesn’t want Dylan overstepping. The girl texts Dylan, they need to talk.

They meet up and Electra reminds her to respect Will’s space and romance. Dylan tries to apologize, but Electra says it was inappropriate.

Dylan apologizes again. The girl says she’s getting her own place soon. Electra asks her to be more mindful. She can never have chicken with Will again!

Hope Logan’s Plea

Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) stops by to see Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Hope wants to discuss Deacon.

Taylor can’t talk to anyone about their sessions. Hope wants to discuss Deacon and Taylor’s personal relationship. Deacon told Hope how he feels. The blonde thinks Taylor has feelings for Deacon, too.

Taylor says this chat is inappropriate. Hope asks her not to encourage Deacon to stay with Sheila. Taylor can’t do that. Hope wants her father to end the marriage. Deacon is just robbing himself of a healthy romance!

Taylor insists nothing is going on with Deacon. Hope appreciates Taylor putting others’ needs over her own. But what would life be like if she put her needs first? Taylor could find out if she gives Deacon a chance.

Deacon is at home on a phone call. The man wonders if fairy tale romances are for people like him and the psychologist.

Steffy shows up and wants Deacon to nix any future with Taylor. Deacon thinks she’s confused. Steffy says he’s as bad as Taylor in denying what’s going on.

Steffy says Deacon chose to marry a psychopath, and now he’s stuck with her. Nothing is going to happen with Taylor, Steffy declares! Deacon says she is overreacting.

Steffy wonders if Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) has ever pointed a gun at him. Deacon says she’s changed. Steffy thinks Taylor is just an escape for him.

Steffy wants her mom to move on, but not with Deacon. The man says this wasn’t planned or intentional. Steffy reminds him that Sheila is crazy.
