‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, July 16: Eric Explodes at Will, Carter Breaks Down & Taylor Makes a Discovery

Carter and Daphne face heartbreaking infertility news, Eric throws Will out, Ridge admits Ivy was right, and Taylor offers hope during an emotional day.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) deals with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). Plus, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) realizes Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) was right all along.

Daphne Rose Walton’s Loss

Daphne Rose Walton’s (Murielle Hilaire) heart is breaking. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is confident that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne can work through this together. 

Carter enters and sees Daphne has been sniffling. Steffy leaves so they can talk privately. Daphne is so sorry, she can’t give Carter a child.

Carter doesn’t understand, so Daphne explains her condition. That’s why they haven’t gotten pregnant, because she can’t. 

Carter embraces his wife and says this isn’t her fault. Daphne has always made her dreams come true. It’s killing her that this is one dream she can’t make happen.

Carter says they have more dreams. Then, he breaks down crying. They cry in each other’s arms.

Ridge and Eric’s Realization

Ridge and Eric talk about Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace). Ivy did things the wrong way, but she was right about Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).

They are getting ready for a press conference about Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) being betrayed by Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Katie Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). Brooke might never recover from this. 

Ridge wants to make sure Electra stays away from Will. Eric is going to keep an eye on her.

Will Spencer Interrupted

At Eric’s place, Will begs Electra to reunite. Electra says she thinks about him all the time. Ridge told her that she can’t be with Will anymore.

Will says that’s ridiculous. Electra isn’t a child and Ridge isn’t her father. Electra says the Forresters have been so kind to her. She’s hurt and scared of Will when he attacks RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti). 

Will says love is all that matters. Electra is his angel. Will extends his hand, but Eric barges in. Eric is raging and orders Will to leave.

Will isn’t allowed to be near Electra. Eric says Will betrayed and blindsided Electra.

Apologies change nothing. No Spencers are allowed. Eric says Electra is part of the family and they will protect her. Get out now! 

Will refuses. Eric tells Electra to cut the Spencers out of her life. Tell Will to leave!

Taylor Hayes’ Discovery

Steffy and Taylor are at Bikini Bar. The brunette tells her mom about Daphne’s diagnosis. Taylor would be happy to help Daphne.

Taylor explains there are options, but for now, Daphne needs to grieve. Steffy explains this is hitting Carter hard, too.
