The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Thursday, Sept 5: Steffy Saved, Luna Arrested, Katie Stumped, Poppy Puzzled

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, September 5, 2024, is finally in! In today’s episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) saved Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was arrested. Plus, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) told Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park) that she was a free woman. 

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – SINN Reunite

B&B recap for Thursday, September 5 reveals Steffy assures Finn she’s okay now. Finn tries opening the cage, but it’s padlocked. Finn wants to get Steffy to a hospital. 

Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) asks Luna where she thinks she’s going. Li is huffing and puffing, she’s out of breath from chasing Luna.

Li can’t believe it really was Luna, Finn was right. Li brings up the Il Giardino murders and Steffy in a cage. Luna tries pushing past Li, but she doesn’t let her. Li tells Luna she is going to prison.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) stops by to see Bill. Bill and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) talked this morning. Bill says despite the paternity test, he thinks maybe Luna and Will could have some kind of relationship.

Bill calls Luna a special girl as Katie’s lips tighten. Katie brings up Poppy’s sins. Bill is bouncing back to thinking Poppy isn’t capable of murder. Make up your mind, Bill.

Katie calls Luna’s mother a homicidal maniac. Bill isn’t convinced and he’s worried Poppy is innocent. None of this is fair to Luna, Bill exclaims.

B&B Recap – Li Finnegan’s Horror

Li can’t believe Luna is doing this to Poppy. Luna doesn’t understand why Li cares. Li hates Poppy. Li denies hating her sister. Li says it’s disapproval, not hate.

Luna claims Poppy is an awful person and has no idea what she went through with a mother like that. Luna says Poppy was always on drugs and bringing random men home.

Luna says Poppy never cared about her needs or how she could build a future. Luna says she finally got the stability she’s been craving her whole life. Li scoffs as she asks, “Bill Spencer?”

Luna says Bill was going to give her everything she’s ever wanted, and nothing’s standing in the way of that. Luna orders Li to get out of her way. Li gets nose-to-nose with Luna and fiercely says, “NO!”

Finn is concerned about how long Steffy has been without food and water. Finn looks for something, then brings Steffy a bottle of water.

Maybe he should’ve risked tap water. Steffy gulps it. Steffy starts gasping and tells Finn that Luna has the key. Steffy guzzles the rest of the water. Finn goes to find Luna and get the key. Finn promises to be back soon. 

Bill tells Katie that Luna sees him differently now. Bill says it’s hard to explain but the vibe isn’t the same. Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) calls Bill. After Bill hangs up, he tells Katie that Poppy is innocent. Katie is bewildered.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Luna Nozawa’s Showdown

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, September 5 reveals Luna is ticked that suddenly, Li wants to do the right thing. Luna shoves Li hard, it forces the doctor to almost lose her balance.

However, Li regains her footing. Luna blasts Li for not stepping in when she was younger. Li doesn’t know what Luna means.

Luna says that Li was so consumed with her outrage over Poppy, she didn’t even see the little girl at all. Luna cries as she tells Li that she’s always been jealous of the family Finn had.

Li says she offered Poppy advice, but it was always ignored. Li says that at a certain point, she had to just walk away. 

Luna says she just did what she had to do. Luna talks about the paternity test and “that loser of a biological father.” Luna adds that Tom Starr (Clint Howard) might not even be her real dad because there are “so many candidates). Li asks why kill Tom then? Luna explains because Tom was convinced he was her daddy. Luna talks about Tom’s “annoying letters.”

Luna says Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) was a sweetheart, but she had to kill him because he found the letters. Li grimaces as she says, “And I thought your mother made poor choices…”

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Thursday, September 5, 2024

Li says Poppy might be a train wreck, but she’s no murderer or kidnapper. Li asks how Luna could do that to her cousin’s wife?

To the mother of Li’s grandbabies? Luna knows time is running out. Luna tells Li to get out of her way and she charges! Li blocks Luna with her arm and takes her down in one swoop.

Woo-Hoo! Go, Li! As Luna’s back hits the concrete floor, Li pins her hard to the ground while saying, “Nozawa Power!” Luna seems out of it, but not unconscious. The cops walk in. Li tells Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin), “There’s your murderer.”

Katie suggests Justin has false information. Katie is confused. If Poppy didn’t kill them, then who did? Bill doesn’t know, but he is going to tell Poppy the news himself. Katie looks baffled.

Li tells Baker that Poppy is innocent. Baker says he knows, Finn called him and told him everything. Luna is arrested. Li sneers at her niece and calls her Luna NOZAWA, making it clear she will never have any part of the Spencer family again.

There’s a noise. Steffy is groggy and asks who’s there. It’s Finn! Finn breaks the lock and opens the cage. Finn rushes in and embraces Steffy.

As Steffy grips onto Finn, he holds her tight and brings her out of the cage. Dramatic music plays as Steffy sobs in Finn’s arms. This is the stuff soaps were made for, y’all! 

Bill walks into the visitor’s room to see Poppy. Bill tells Poppy about Justin’s intel. Bil confirmed its accuracy on his way to the jail.

Bill says the real killer has been arrested, and Poppy is free to go. Poppy can’t believe it. Poppy cries happy tears and spins around in shock. Poppy can barely speak, and is so overwhelmed with joy. Bill claims that he knew Poppy wasn’t capable of violence.

Poppy wants to know who really committed the murders. Baker walks in and an officer escorts Luna in handcuffs into the visitor’s room.

Poppy doesn’t see the handcuffs. Poppy tells Luna that they caught the real killer and she’s going home. Luna doesn’t smile or say anything. Poppy doesn’t understand. Bill stares at Luna, waiting for her to tell Poppy the truth. 

At the cliffhouse, Finn carries Steffy in. Finn wants Steffy to go to the hospital. Steffy refuses, she already gave a statement to the police.

Steffy wants to see her kids. Finn arranged for kids to come later, right now, Steffy needs to rest. Steffy agrees that she’s not physically or mentally ready yet.

Steffy wasn’t sure if she was ever going to see her family again. Steffy cries as she talks about how their connection allowed her to survive that ordeal. Good thing Finn doesn’t always do as he’s told or Steffy wouldn’t be alive right now.
