The Bold And The Beautiful Recap Tuesday, Aug 27: Liam’s Confrontation, Luna Explains, Finn’s Defense

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Luna Nozawa’s Insanity

B&B recap for Tuesday, August 27 reveals that Steffy tells Luna this is insane. Luna claims she’s protecting herself. Steffy cries and begs Luna to think about what she’s doing and let her go. Luna says Steffy knows too much. 

Finn is in his office at the hospital. Finn can’t stop staring at Steffy’s photo. Finn flashes back to Steffy asking him not to reach out while she’s gone. Liam interrupts and gloats about FInn messing up. Liam can’t believe Finn and Hope kissed. 

Hope is struggling to work. Hope flashes back to kissing Finn at the party. Hope recalls Finn pulling away. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) interrupts. Brooke asks what Hope was thinking about.

Brooke can guess what – or who – was on Hope’s mind. Hope can’t believe everyone knows about the kiss, including Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).

Hope is trying to move past her feelings, but it’s hard when she’s under a microscope. Brooke says, “So you were thinking about Finn.” Hope doesn’t want to be that woman even though Steffy abandoned Finn.

B&B Recap – Liam Spencer’s Confrontation

Liam tells Finn that Steffy is leaving town and asks him to watch Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay). Finn doesn’t see Liam’s point as he already knows all that. Liam wants details.

Steffy is screaming bloody murder and banging the cage. Luna tells Steffy no one can hear her. Luna informs Steffy that the building is about to be demolished and everyone has already moved out of the building.

Steffy realizes the stakes are even higher than she thought. Steffy tells Luna she’s not going to get away with it. Luna says Steffy isn’t going anywhere.

Brooke tells Hope that Steffy didn’t abandon her marriage, she left town. Hope reasons Steffy certainly isn’t sticking around to fix the marriage. Hope passionately defends Finn. Hope says she doesn’t think Steffy truly appreciates what a remarkable man Finn is. 

Finn doesn’t want Liam involved. Liam is already involved and has a right to know what affects Kelly. Finn tells Liam he didn’t kiss Hope, it was the other way around.

Finn blasts Hope for her actions. Liam doesn’t think Hope would kiss Finn out of nowhere. Liam says Hope is deliberate and would not kiss Finn unless she thought he wanted it too. Finn only cares about Steffy and makes that clear to Liam.

Luna justifies her actions. Luna says Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park) just got drugged up and left her with random people.

Luna says Poppy hooked up with a rock star but he couldn’t provide her with any kind of future. The idea of Tom Starr (Clint Howard) being Luna’s father makes her sick.

Luna says she and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) have a bond. Luna says it doesn’t matter that she’s not really Bill’s daughter. Luna says her connection to Bill is going to get much stronger. 

Brooke is surprised by Hope’s comment. Brooke tells Hope not to talk that way about Steffy and Finn. Brooke says Finn is Steffy’s husband first. Hope can’t put Finn out of her mind. Hope thinks Steffy is judge and jury. Hope doesn’t understand how Steffy gets to control everyone’s relationships. 

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap  – John Finnegan’s Fury

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, August 27 reveals that Finn tells Liam if he’s so concerned about the kiss, then talks to Hope.

Liam plans on it but can’t believe Finn is acting like he has no part in it. Finn explains Hope attacked his lips at a family party supporting Steffy.

Liam is worried about Hope’s well-being and mental health. Liam says Finn keeps causing chaos in Steffy’s life and maybe stepping away is healthy.

Luna explains she saw Bill and Poppy getting closer. Once she learned of their history, Luna realized the hookup lined up with the conception.

Luna talks about repeatedly asking Poppy about Bill being her father. Luna knew eventually she would wear Poppy down.

Then, the DNA test came but Luna was already prepared. Luna confesses to getting a phony paternity test online. Luna panicked when Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) showed up, but she discreetly did a switcheroo.

Luna talks about how Li always looked down on them. Luna says Li could have offered her a better life, but all she got was her pity. Luna’s plan was perfect…money, security, a forever family… she couldn’t let Tom or anyone else mess that up. 

B&B Recap – Tuesday, August 27, 2024

Finn tells Liam he wasn’t there and doesn’t know what happened. Liam says Finn has a pattern of behavior. Finn tells Liam he went straight to Steffy and told the truth. Liam says that Finn’s excuse is the same wording as the Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) situation.

Luna says she’s been reading Tom’s letter for YEARS! Poppy was never aware that Luna already knew about Tom. Luna says she was never going to allow Tom to claim her as his child.

A flashback shows Luna drugging Tom’s neon blue sports drink. Steffy asks about Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers). Luna calls Hollis “collateral damage.”

Steffy doesn’t understand why Luna killed her friend. Luna says Hollis found the letters and backpack. Hollis was proud of his detective work and wanted to tell everyone.

While Hollis was gone, Luna drugged his sports drink bottle. When Holis came back, he started having trouble speaking and checked his pulse.

Luna calmly watches as Hollis struggles to breathe and collapses. Luna takes the backpack and coldly stares at her dying friend without an ounce of guilt.

Luna looked Hollis in the eyes, then walked away, leaving her friend there to die all alone. As Luna walks out the door, Steffy screams as loudly as she can.
