‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Tuesday, August 18: Sober Nightmare, Taylor Puzzled, Finn’s Guilt

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Tuesday, August 18, 2026. In today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gets a rude awakening.

Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) is puzzled by a return. Plus, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) tries to make things right.

Rude Awakening

At the office, Steffy is sleeping on the sofa covered by a blanket. The cleaning people knock on the door since it’s locked, but there’s no answer.

They leave. Steffy wakes up and realizes she is without clothes and on top of Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Her foot ends up in his face.

A now sober Steffy is horrified to realize what they’ve done. They race to clothe themselves and look for their phones.

Finn has sent multiple text messages saying he’s on the way home. Carter wants to talk about what they did, but Steffy just wants to get dressed. 

Daphne Rose Walton Returns

Steffy races out the door. Carter has clothes on now. He cleans up the room when Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) suddenly enters.

The Nose tried to leave, but couldn’t. Daphne explains that she know she said she was leaving, but she’s here now.

The pain will be worse without Carter. The Nose is so sorry and wraps her arms around Carter. 

On an airplane, Finn thinks about Steffy. The doctor hopes he can make it right before it’s too late.

Talking Marriage

At the cliff house, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) brings Taylor a sandwich. The kids have already been dropped off at camp. Taylor is glad that Deacon is okay with her saying no to the marriage proposal.

Marriage isn’t really necessary at their age. Deacon thinks older people can make marriage work better than younger people. However, he accepts her answer. 

Deacon wonders if Sheila got the hint and actually is staying away. They have things to do, and Deacon exits.

Puzzling Return

Steffy suddenly turns up at home. Taylor is baffled. Steffy runs to take a shower. Taylor wants to know what happened. Steffy explains about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

It was Sheila’s dream come true, and Steffy’s nightmare. Taylor asks about her daughter’s wedding ring.

The lady explains that she threw it at Finn. Before leaving, Taylor encourages Steffy to remember how much she loves Finn.

John Finnegan Begs

Finn shows up and apologizes. The doctor begs for her to forgive him. Steffy can’t look at him in the face and turns away.
