The Bold And The Beautiful Recap Tuesday, Sept 3: RJ Grills Bill, Finn Corners Luna, Steffy’s Failed Negotiation

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, September 3, 2024, is finally here! In today’s episode, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) grills Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) corners Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). Plus, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) tries to negotiate her release, but it backfires. 

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Li Finnegan’s Disbelief

B&B recap for Tuesday, September 3 reveals that Finn tells Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) about Steffy’s disappearance. Li suggests talking to Steffy’s parents. Check. Finn did that already. Finn tells Li about Luna talking to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) inappropriately.

Li is in disbelief and isn’t sure if this is real. Finn knows it’s hard to believe, but he thinks Poppy is innocent. Li knows Poppy isn’t capable of taking another life.

Finn says the last place Steffy was seen was at Bill’s, the same place Luna has been living for months. Finn says Luna’s involved in his wife’s disappearance.

RJ goes to talk to Bill about Luna. RJ says he barely sees Luna anymore, even at work. Bill says Luna has a lot going on. RJ knows, but thinks there is more than what Luna is saying. RJ wants to know why Luna is avoiding him instead of turning to him for support.

Bill is skirting around RJ’s questions and statements. Bill knows Luna isn’t acting like herself. Bill tells RJ that Luna is “very confused.” Bill is trying to help Luna through this, but it’s “complicated.”

B&B Recap – Bill Spencer Grilled

Li can’t believe Luna is responsible for Steffy’s disappearance. Li reminds Finn of how much he’s always liked Luna and that’s his cousin. Finn knows, but Luna isn’t the same girl they remember.

Li thinks Finn turning on Luna is not a good thing…. Finn interrupts and says his mom doesn’t know what he does. Finn tells Li that Luna kissed Bill. 

Steffy thinks Luna is sick for kissing her non-dad. Luna reminds Steffy she’s always known Bill wasn’t her father. Steffy wonders why Luna went to all the trouble to make Bill believe he was her father if she wanted to be the new woman.

Even drugged and starving, Steffy is still asking the right questions. Luna explains that was Plan A, this is Plan B. Steffy says seducing Bill won’t work. Luna says not right away… she’s playing the long game.

RJ wants to know what Bill meant, by what situation? Bill is losing his cool and makes excuses. Bill tells RJ that he offered to get Luna professional help, but she says she’s still “processing.” The topic turns to Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park). Bill tells RJ that Poppy might be guilty.

Poppy might have rigged that paternity test. This is a bit different than how BIll played it to Poppy during that jailhouse visit. Bill tells RJ he can never forgive Poppy for what she’s done. RJ wonders if Luna could forgive Poppy.

Bill thinks Luna has a big heart. RJ tells Bill that he would love to help support Luna, but since moving in at the Spencer estate, she’s given him the kiss-off. Bill’s eyes dart up quickly with surprise. Bill flashes back to Luna’s kiss. Bill says he hopes it’s not true, Luna needs RJ. 

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap  – Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Negotiation

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, September 3 reveals that Li is in disbelief again. “Luna… kissed… Bill????” Finn confirms and says, “Twice. On the lips.” Li says the kiss was wrong, but a kiss doesn’t have any connection to Steffy disappearing. 

Steffy can’t believe Luna is going to send her mother to prison. Luna turns away from Steffy. Steffy says she understands Luna wants the Spencer lifestyle, but not like this. Steffy promises she’ll tell Bill and the police that Luna is just a girl who lost her way. Luna bites her lip while still having her back to Steffy.

Li still doesn’t understand what any of this has to do with Steffy. Finn tells Li he found Steffy’s phone at Bill’s house. Li agrees that Steffy would never leave her phone. Li says even if Steffy was mad at Finn, she would have her phone for the children. 

Then, Finn tells Li that according to Bill, Luna and Poppy’s apartment is deserted. Li says that’s not true. Li says most of their stuff is still in the apartment. Finn wonders why Luna would tell Bill the exact opposite.

Li can’t answer that but does know Luna was with RJ the night Tom Starr (Clint Howard) died. Finn tells Li they can’t trust anything Luna says anymore. Finn leaves to talk to RJ and Steffy’s parents.

Steffy tells Luna it’s not too late. Luna doesn’t hurt people. Think about Finn, think about how grateful he would be if this ends now? Think about RJ’s love and her children who just want their mom back. Luna furrows her brow as she turns to look at Steffy. Luna doesn’t know what to do. Steffy swears she will help Luna if she ends it now. 

B&B Recap – Tuesday, September 3, 2024

Finn goes to RJ’s office. Finn tells RJ he found Steffy’s phone. RJ is alarmed that Steffy left her phone, but didn’t come back for it. Finn talks about Luna. RJ can’t tell Finn anything. RJ says he barely sees her and he doesn’t even know where their relationship stands.

Finn guesses that RJ feels that Luna is a different person now. Maybe because she is, Finn reasons. Finn wants RJ to think hard about the night of Tom’s death… were he and Luna really together that night?

Steffy asks Luna to unlock the door. Steffy says they will go through whatever they have to… together. Steffy promises not to abandon Luna. Steffy says Finn won’t abandon Luna either.

For a second, Luna looks empathetic and remorseful. Then, she switches back and says, “Not happening!” Luna says Steffy is just lying and using her, just like Poppy. Luna is upset and runs out of the apartment, leaving Steffy alone in the cage. 

RJ says they were at the office the night Tom died. RJ remembers because it was the same night Luna learned Bill was going to adopt her, and she was ecstatic. Finn wants to know if they left together after work. First RJ says yes, then flashes back to that night and corrects himself.

RJ suddenly remembers that Luna got a text, and ran out. RJ didn’t see her the rest of the night. RJ is panicking. RJ wants to know why Finn is asking these questions. Finn tells RJ that he’s confident Luna killed Tom and Hollis and could have kidnapped Steffy. RJ’s head is spinning.

Luna runs into Forrester Creations and shuts the door behind her. Luna isn’t alone. Finn is sitting there in an office chair. Finn says, “Hello, Luna.”
