‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Tuesday, September 1: Steffy & Carter Nearly Busted, Finn’s Guilt & Electra Turns on Dylan

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Tuesday, September 1, 2026. In today’s episode, Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) experiences a loss. Meanwhile, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) tries to explain things to his wife.

2 Characters Busted

Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) questions Carter and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). What did she interrupt? The Nose says she knows why Steffy is so upset.

The lady’s eyes pop out. Daphne knows about Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) toes in Monaco. 

Daphne tells Steffy that she can count on both her and Carter. The Nose is glad she came back to Carter. It was just one awful night.

Carter is the love of her life and nothing will break them apart! They kiss, then embrace. While holding Daphne, Carter gives Steffy a look. 

Carter gushes about how wonderful his wife is. Daphne gushes all the things she loves back at him. Daphne turns to Steffy and says how lucky she is to have her as a friend.

She knows Steffy will be there to celebrate when they have a family. Daphne and Steffy hug.

Daphne exits. Carter and Steffy discuss how awful that was. They need to forget about what they did and move on. Steffy doesn’t think she can lie forever

Carter urges her to think of her own family. They will both lose everything if anyone finds out the truth. Carter will lose his marriage, his friends, and even his career.

They are just two good people who made one terrible mistake. Steffy says the secret poisons every happy moment. 

John Finnegan’s Heart-to-Heart

At the hospital, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) apologizes. She didn’t realize she was tipping off Sheila. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) assures his mom that it’s all okay now.

Finn realizes he should have alerted Steffy right away. Keeping secrets is wrong, no matter what.

Finn doesn’t blame Steffy for her reaction. He shudders thinking of her returning to L.A. and having to bear all of this on her own. 

Li reminds her son that nothing and no one can stop Sheila. Finn feels like he let his wife down. Li thinks Finn is lucky that things didn’t get any worse. Finn stares at his wedding picture. 

Melissa Dylan’s Loss

At FC, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) walks in on Dylan gossiping to an employee about Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). The employee leaves Electra and Dylan alone.

Electra thinks Dylan is pushing it, considering she’s already on thin ice. Electra wants to know if she’s more than friends with Will now. Dylan refuses to talk about it. 

That headband looks really weird on Electra’s head, even though it does match the belt. 

Electra rehashes everything that’s happened for the millionth time. Dylan reminds her former BFF that she dumped Will.

Dylan yaps about being a girl from the Midwest who just wants to make friends and create art. Electra can’t let her off the hook. She feels manipulated and conned.
