‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, April 1: Boot Discovery, Steffy vs Deacon, Hope & Deke Panic

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Wednesday, April 1, 2026. In today’s episode, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) makes a boot discovery.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) summons Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Plus,  Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) panic.

Taylor Hayes Busted (Again)

Taylor Hayes (Rebeca Budig) and Deacon are on the phone. The man insists Sheila doesn’t know the truth. Taylor confesses she told Steffy what happened.

Then, Taylor hears her daughter coming and gets off the phone quickly. Steffy hopes Taylor wasn’t talking to Deacon. The lady is supposed to be rational!

Steffy orders her mother to ban Deacon from her life. The daughter wonders how Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would feel about this. Taylor reasons it’s none of her ex-husband’s business.

Steffy reminds her mother that she will lose her kids and grandkids if she continues associating with Deacon. Taylor loves deacon and misses him! Steffy needs to find out if Sheila knows anything.

The woman storms out. After Steffy leaves, Taylor thinks of Sheila.

Deacon Sharpe Grilled

Hope and Deke show up to check on their father. Deacon doesn’t want be be interrogated. They need to know what happened. Deacon tells them the short version of what happened.

Sheila almost busted him in bed with Taylor. He brings up Sheila’s knife coming to Taylor’s rescue. Deacon needs to be more careful. Deke thinks he needs to be aware of the danger they are already in.

Deacon is convinced that Sheila doesn’t know a thing. She is getting suspicious, though. She’s asking strange questions. Hope mentions Sheila might be playing with her prey before eating them. 

Sheila Carter Sharpe’s Investigation

At Il Giardino, Sheila is at the bar. She thinks about the pizza box at Taylor’s. An employee walks in, so Sheila corners him. Did he deliver a pizza to the cliff house?

The employee denies it. Sheila goes to check the delivery log to figure out how Taylor got the pizza. Back to Deacon, Hope and Deke worry about how things could have gone last night.

They both wanted Deacon with Taylor, but it’s now too dangerous. Steffy is at work. She has summoned Deacon. Once he arrives, Steffy lays into him about seducing her mother.

Sheila is a lunatic and this is putting her family in danger. Steffy begs Deacon to stay away from Taylor.
