‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, August 12: Steffy’s Beachside Discovery, Sheila Exposed, Deacon’s Heartbreak

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Wednesday, August 12, 2026. In today’s episode, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) gives Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) an answer to his marriage proposal.

Over in Monaco, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) makes a horrific discovery on the beach.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) suggests they can have romance after his meeting. 

Simone arrives and says her father isn’t coming. The man answers to a board who have voted against FC. The man couldn’t face Ridge. Logan has changed everything, Simone says.

SINN Stalked

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) smiles as she watches SINN kissing. Steffy loves Finn’s integrity. He’s always put her first, and they have beaten every challenge presented to them.

Wow, Steffy makes love sound like a video game. This is their recommitment. SINN smooches. The church bells ring.

Birds scatter as the gigantic bells make their tiny brains explode. They take a stroll together. They talk about lunch, but Steffy needs to get to a meeting.

They are going to be all alone tonight. Steffy finally asks about Finn’s flight. He wants to talk about something else. They kiss some more in front of the holy structure. 

Sheila Carter’s Beach Fun

Sheila sits on a lounge at the beach. The lady gets a menu and talks to the waiter about sandwiches. If I’m going all the way to Monaco, I would order something better than a sandwich.

Anyways, Sheila puts her chopped-off toes in the water. The waiter comes back, and Sheila tries flirting with him. The guy tells her to chill out and exits.

Sheila sips her drink and giggles to herself. Sheila starts taking selfies of herself on the Monaco beach. 

Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Fan

Finn and Steffy are walking on the beach. A fan runs up and begs for a photo like Steffy is a celebrity or something.

Sheila sees Steffy and tries to hide under her towel. Finn sees her. Sheila’s whole body is covered by the towel except for her mutilated toes.

Steffy can see the toes from all the way across the beach. Steffy runs over and snatches the towel away, leaving Sheila totally exposed!

Marriage Answer

Back in Los Angeles, Deacon waits for an answer to his marriage proposal. Taylor slowly pulls her hand away. She loves him, but they don’t need to get married.

Wouldn’t it be a bit silly at their age? Deacon divorced Sheila for Taylor. Was that a mistake? Taylor says that was so she wouldn’t be dating Sheila’s husband.

If they were a few decades younger, she would say yes. But not now; they are too old. I had no idea there was an age limit on engagements. I wonder if I should let all my exes in Texas know…
