‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, August 5: Katie Lashes Out, Baby Heartbreak, Zende Steps Up

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Wednesday, August 5, 2026. In today’s episode, Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) claws come out.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) discusses his heartbreak. Plus, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) steps up.

Katie Logan Spencer’s Claws

Katie tells Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) are no longer together.

Katie says he’s crushed and Dylan isn’t exactly an innocent bystander. The girl claims not to know what the brunette means by that.

Dylan says Will is a “really good friend.” Katie asks if Electra is a really good friend, too. Katie calls out Dylan on Electra not being her friend anymore. Katie thinks Dylan is part of the reason why Will is so heartbroken.

Wyatt Spencer’s Discovery

At work, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is on the phone with someone. The man says Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) is going to be thrilled.

Wyatt hangs up as Will storms in with an attitude. Someone wants Shauna to design a necklace for the Emmy Awards. (Writer’s Note: Wow! That’s pretty amazing!) 

Wyatt calls out Will on his attitude. Will doesn’t apologize. Wyatt says he has better things to do and starts to leave.

Will tells him to wait and finally apologizes. Wyatt guesses it’s about “all the women” in Will’s life. 

Zende Forrester Dominguez Steps Up

At FC, Zende gushes to Carter about how important the Monaco trip is. Zende brings up that this must be a lot of work considering everything else going on in Carter’s life.

Zende stepped in to lighten Carter’s workload, and he appreciates it. Zende wants to help however he can. Carter explains Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) is taking the infertility news really hard. The man is worried about his wife.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Support

At work, Daphne and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hug. The Nose has tears and feels bad for crying.

Steffy reassures her, but Daphne says this is a place of business. Steffy empathizes with Daphne and understands why her emotions are all over the place.

Steffy trots over to her desk to get some tissues and hands them to Daphne. (Writer’s Note: The Nose looks FABULOUS in that yellowish piece she has on! It really brings out the glow in her complexion).

Depression Storyline?

Daphne admits she is concerned that she can’t seem to pull out of her funk. Steffy tells her that it takes time.

Daphne knows how much Carter wanted a child, and she can’t give him that. 

Zende says that Carter is an amazing husband. It doesn’t seem to make Carter feel any better.

Carter is focused on Daphne’s pain, but Zende brings up that this must be painful for the husband too. Carter has always wanted kids. 

Back with Daphne, she has put together a fragrance box for Monaco. They are for their most exclusive clientele. Steffy asks The Nose to come to Monaco with her. The Nose declines. 

Will Spencer Struggles

Wyatt closes the door and brings up Electra walking out on Will yet again. Will doesn’t know how much longer he can do this.

Will says that Electra walks out on him every Tuesday. Will says that Electra is “the one.”

Wyatt then brings up “Nancy,” who we all know is Dylan. Wyatt calls her “sweet and sour sexy sauce!” LOL! 

Dylan knows how much pain Will has been in. The girl keeps acting innocent and playing the friends card. Katie tells her to be straight with her. What are her real feelings for Will? Katie calls her “Melissa.” 

Family Options

Back with Carter, Zende tries to give him a pep talk. One way or another, they will have a family, Zende says.

Carter and Daphne’s love for each other will get them through this, Zende assures his coworker.

Steffy cares about Daphne and Carter so much. The co-CEO calls them “family.” The Nose thanks her bestie. Steffy has been researching options, she carefully brings them up.

Steffy says that her diagnosis doesn’t mean NO chance of conceiving, just that it’s not common. Daphne doesn’t want false hope.

The lady explains that even with medical intervention and hormone therapies, the chances are still so low. Steffy realizes she oversteps but braces herself as she continues.

Steffy tells Daphne that pregnancy is just a small part of being a parent. Steffy brings up a few options and that many infertile couples have families other ways.

Steffy does give her friend a really nice pep talk about the future. They embrace as tears run down Daphne’s cheeks.

Sweet & Sour Sexy Sauce

Wyatt asks Will how Electra even found out about “Sweet & Sour Sexy Sauce”. Will doesn’t really answer, just says that Electra didn’t walk in on them. Katie knows and is concerned about Dylan. Wyatt asks who Dylan is. 

Katie pushes Dylan to answer her. The girl tries to make excuses, but Katie already knows. Will and Electra break up, and suddenly, Dylan is at the beach house.

Katie knows exactly what is going on. Katie calls Dylan “Melissa” again, and demands answers. What are her intentions for Katie’s son?! (Writer’s Note: As if people go around declaring their true intentions. LOL!)

Carter hands paperwork to Steffy. Daphne isn’t there anymore. It’s a list of European contacts. Steffy wants to know how Carter is doing personally.

They are both worried about Daphne. Steffy will also be there for Carter, she says.

Who is Melissa Dylan?

Will explains “Nancy” is Dylan. Wyatt brings up that they both lied to him. Will bashes his brother for coming over unannounced.

Wyatt calls him out on the BS. Will says she’s a friend. Wyatt asks with benefits? Will doesn’t know. Will explains this is the same girl that was living in her car, the one who lived above his garage for a while.

Wyatt realizes it’s all connecting. Will adds she’s also Electra’s BFF. Wyatt says, “Wow! This just keeps getting better and better!” Wyatt sides with Electra and Will lets out a huge sigh.

Katie calls out Dylan for stabbing Electra in the back. Dylan says that Electra dumped Will multiple times.

Dylan claims to really care about Will and just wants to see him smile. Katie knows exactly how she tried to do that.

On a side note, Katie keeps refusing to call Dylan by her preferred name. Very, very interesting! 

Baby Delivery Heartbreak

Carter talks to Steffy about painting the nursery and the baby furniture that arrived yesterday. He forgot to cancel it with everything going around.

Carter explains the look on his wife’s face. It was heartbreaking, and Carter blames himself.

Steffy reassures him, and Carter gushes about what a great friend she is. Steffy and Carter embrace.

Will and Wyatt talk about Dylan and Katie. Wyatt asks how Will feels about Dylan. He cares about her, but he’s not sure.

Will is still in love with Electra. Wyatt explains how toxic Will is being, unable to move forward. Wyatt explains that things in life naturally work themselves out. 

Katie continues bashing Dylan, who keeps playing innocent. Dylan brings up that Spencers and Forresters don’t mix.

Katie didn’t know there were teams, which team is Dylan on? she asks? Katie thinks Dylan is on her own team. 

Luna Nozawa Mentioned

Dylan admits having feelings for Will. Katie brings up that Dylan came to L.A. as a “schoolteacher.” Then, she ran over Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

Then, she finds a way to move into Will’s house. She was there for months. Then, the minute Will and Electra break up, Dylan is right back here. The very same night. Katie demands to know who Dylan really is.
