‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, December 17: Katie Dismissed, Carter’s Announcement, Steffy Explains

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) is dismissed by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) makes an announcement. Plus, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) explains things to her mother.

Bill Spencer’s Pressure

BATIE is kissing in the office. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) blew her mind with the runway and showroom plans. Bill asks if it’s too much. Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!

The brunette says it isn’t, but she’s still wrapping her head around it. Bill just wants her to be happy. She already is, but Bill wants more for her.

Bill continues to push Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) to accept. Katie says this is a huge undertaking. Bill has faith in her.

This is a huge decision, Katie needs a little time to think about it. Bill says that while she’s sitting, FC will continue to undervalue her. If she accepts, cutting ties at FC won’t be easy. Katie leaves, leaving Bill wondering what she will decide.

Carter Walton’s Announcement

Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) continue chatting at Forrester Creations. Brooke calls BATIE’s wedding romantic. Ridge thinks it’s more desperate.

Carter comes in with an update on the outside public relations firm. Carter says they are doing a kick-butt job. Ridge and Carter are impressed, but Brooke looks worried for Katie.

Brooke mentions that now that things have settled down, Katie won’t sit on the sidelines. They say Katie is very valuable to FC, but the PR firm has some very interesting proposals. Brooke asks once again, “Where does that leave Katie?”

Carter brings up Hope for the Future. Katie interrupts. Interesting timing, Katie. What did she miss? Brooke offers to catch her up later today, but Katie doesn’t get the hint.

What did she miss, what campaign are they talking about? Carter already ran it with the PR team. Katie can’t believe they spoke to the outside firm before her. She’s head of PR and wasn’t even informed.

Katie Logan Spencer Dismissed

Carter texts Ridge, it’s time for the next meeting. Katie asks what they are covering. Ridge says they already have it under control. Katie gets upset as Brooke tries to play devil’s advocate.

Ridge tries to intercept, Katie has her hands full. Katie understands, but all these decisions are being made without her. Plus, they are keeping the firm on in the foreseeable future? Ridge dismisses Katie and says they have to get to the meeting. Wow, poor Katie.

Katie returns to Spencer Publications. Katie vents about how she’s being treated there. Bill will support her either way, but he wants her to take his offer.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Opens Up

Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) interrupts Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on an urgent business call.

Taylor is avoiding Brooke, so she hasn’t seen Ridge. Steffy wants to know if Taylor is really moving on after Ridge. The minute Ridge saved Brooke’s life, that was it. She has her family and work.

Steffy wants to know if Taylor is still seeing Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) as a patient. Wow, I don’t think Taylor can answer that! In any case, the topic turns to Forrester Creations.

Steffy talks about the new PR team. Taylor thought that PR was Katie’s department. Steffy says she needed the help.

Sheila Carter Sharpe’s Confession

At home, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) knows she should just let it go, she tells Deacon. Sheila admits that Taylor helped her with some much-needed perspective. Deacon still looks worried. Deacon knows, he had a therapy session after the wedding.

This surprises Sheila, wasn’t he thrilled after the wedding? He was, but Taylor has a way of being there for him. Sheila seems a bit uncomfy.

Then, she says she didn’t give into her instincts and she’s proud of that. Sheila says Taylor saved her from herself yesterday! And she saved her marriage too! Deacon looks rather uncomfortable now.
