‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, January 7: Steffy Spies, Carter’s Plea, Deacon’s Flirty Move

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Wednesday, January 7, 2026. In today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) spies. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) continues flirting with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).

Plus, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) confronts Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire). (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY B&B spoilers, here!)

Li Finnegan’s Wisdom

Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) arrives at Il Giardino after being summoned by Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown). The waitress needs to discuss her marriage.

Sheila tells the doctor about Taylor and Deke Sharpe’s (Harrison Cone) comments. She’s really on edge and people aren’t happy about her reunion with Deacon.

Li reminds the woman that Taylor supported her marriage to Deacon. Sheila needs to make her marriage stronger.

Sheila admits that Taylor has been her friend. Li tells her people are rooting for her. Li says Sheila has her support as well as Taylor’s. Sheila decides to just focus on Deacon.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Curveball

At Forrester Creations, Carter is stunned by Steffy’s news. When was Daphne going to tell Carter? Steffy thinks eventually. Carter doesn’t understand this at all! Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) pushes the COO to get to Daphne. 

Carter exits and Ridge suggests Steffy reason with Daphne. However, Steffy reminds her dad that Daphne does what she wants. 

Carter Walton’s Plea

Over in the showroom, Daphne informs Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) that she’s going back to Paris. Hope wonders why so sudden.

Daphne says it’s time and she can work from home. Hope isn’t concerned about work, she’s concerned about Carter. Daphne admits this is awkward. 

Hope is still worried about him. Is Daphne running away from a good thing? Hope knows that Daphne cares about Carter very much.

Hope leaves and goes to Ridge’s office. They already know about Daphne leaving. 

Carter finds Daphne. The Nose wishes she could have told him herself. Carter says they have a real chance, why is she going? Daphne says her life is in Paris. Carter wishes she would stay. 

Deacon Sharpe’s Flirty Move

Deacon grabs Taylor’s hands in the office at the hospital. The man wants to know how she feels about him. Taylor pulls her hands away.

Deacon gushes about how amazing she is. Taylor suggests he’s transferring feelings onto her. Deacon replies that Taylor gives so much to her patients during the day, but “Who is Taylor Hayes, the woman, at night?” Does she need love? Deacon realizes Taylor is uncomfortable. The man says Taylor deserves to be worshipped. 

Steffy arrives outside Taylor’s office door. Back inside, Deacon gives Taylor a lecture about how much she’s changed his life.

Taylor says that Deacon has helped her see there is life after Ridge. Deacon gets in closer but then she says their time is up. 

Steffy quickly hides as Deacon walks out of Taylor’s office. Taylor is so relieved! Then, Steffy comes bursting in and demanding to know what’s really going on with Deacon. Is she falling for Sheila’s husband?!
