‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, July 16: Liam’s Surgery, Poppy’s Disgusting Proposition, Grace’s Joy

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is finally in for Wednesday, July 16, 2025. In today’s episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) undergoes surgery.

Meanwhile, Penelope “Poppy” Nozawa (Romy Park) makes a disgusting move toward John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Liam Spencer’s Anxiety

At a private medical center, Liam waits for his procedure. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) tries to keep his son’s spirits up. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) enters and declares that she believes in this procedure. This is Liam’s best chance! (Make sure to check out our next week B&B spoilers, here!)

Dr. Adhikari (actor unknown) enters. Grace says the doctor is the best there is and Bill says he better be. Grace speaks to Bill privately and talks about money. Bill will write her a blank check as long as they save Liam.

Outside, Bill makes a phone call and pressures them to put the $1 million transfer through.

Back in the operating room, the doctors put Liam out and began cutting into his scalp.

Grace Buckingham’s Joy

A bit later, Grace comes out and declares that Liam is in recovery. Dr. Adhikari mentions that it went “very well.” The surgeon seems to be a man of few words. Grace explains to Bill that the entire tumor was removed. Liam experienced a miracle!

Poppy Nozawa’s Disgusting Proposition

Over in Finn’s office at the hospital, Poppy wants to comfort him over Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). Poppy keeps trying to smooth-talk Finn and oh, he must be hurting so much!

It really seems like Poppy is trying to seduce him again, but Finn doesn’t take the bait. He basically tells her to get lost and Poppy is left there glaring.

Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) tells Finn that Liam is missing! He’s been released into his father’s care! Even though neither doctor understands this, they do know Bill will do anything for his family.

Hope Logan & Steffy Forrester Finnegan Bond

At Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) talk about the shooting. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) joins them and agrees that Liam is a hero.

Carter wonders how Finn is handling Luna’s death. It was a complicated situation. Steffy won’t shed a tear for the dead girl. The topic changes to Liam.

They don’t know about the new surgery or transfer yet. They assume Liam will go home with Bill, and they aren’t pleased about that at all.
