The Bold & the Beautiful, recap for Wednesday July 7 opens at Forrester Creations where Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is excited to give his wife the details about their new grandson, who is perfect in every way.

When Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) pops into the office, she tells Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) that all she can think about is Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) all alone in a jail cell. Time is running out to find proof that Liam didn’t hit Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) on purpose. Hope says Liam is trying to stay strong for her and the kids but is struggling.

Next on today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap, Ridge wonders why they are so stuck on Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) when there are 10,000 other lawyers in Los Angeles who can help Liam. They’re mystified when Hope says that Justin has Thomas’ cell phone. Justin claims Thomas came to Spencer for a meeting and left it behind. Justin wouldn’t let Hope have it when she left, because he was holding onto it for Thomas while he was out of town.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Ridge Forrester Is Surprised

Ridge is surprised that Thomas went out of town without saying anything and would leave his phone with Justin. Brooke wants Ridge to trust that Justin is being professional and responsible. Thomas has been known to take off to Big Bear without telling anyone.

B&B spoilers tease Ridge can’t trust the man who threw him out of a helicopter. Ridge says Thomas wouldn’t leave town while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was having a baby. Brooke frustrates Ridge when she suggests his son is having problems with his mental health again. Brooke speculates that Thomas has a new woman.

At Spencer Publications, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) sits alone in a cell of his own, calling out for help, while his captor paces the floor in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) office. Justin is kicking himself for accidentally leaving Thomas’ phone for Hope to find.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Is Wasting His Time Yelling

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) catches Justin yelling at himself. He can empathize with stress. His concern turns into annoyance when Justin says that he didn’t have time to finish the final contracts for a podcast deal. Wyatt orders him to focus on getting Liam and Bill out of jail. Justin says they are his top priority. He promises to finish the contracts and leaves to work on the case.

Next on today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap, Justin brings Thomas water and says he’s wasting his time yelling for help. Thomas is hangry when Justin hasn’t given him anything to eat. Thomas asks him to do the decent thing and let him out. Thomas promises not to say anything if Justin lets him go to the police about Vinny. Thomas sees a beacon of hope when Justin says Hope saw Thomas’ phone in his office.

Justin says that egomaniac Bill isn’t really his friend. All Bill does is order him around to fix everything. Justin is the brains behind the operation. This is his chance to run Spencer. Thomas reminds Justin that he’s not a bad person like Bill. Liam doesn’t deserve to spend his life in jail for what his father did. Thomas begs him to let him out before it’s too late. It’s only a matter of time before someone comes looking for him.

While Brooke tries to talk shop, Ridge worries about Thomas. Brooke is certain Thomas will check in soon.

Hope heads back to Spencer to sleuth out more details about Thomas’ whereabouts. She finds Wyatt behind Bill’s desk. Hope decides to wait for Justin when Wyatt leaves. She goes on the hunt for Thomas’ phone. She sees Justin in the hallway and follows him. Justin brings Thomas breakfast. Hope is shocked when she overhears Thomas begging Justin to set him free.
