‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Wednesday, May 14: Steffy’s Demand, Logans Strategize, Ridge’s Dilemma

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Wednesday, May 14, 2026. In today’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) issues a childish demand to her father.

Meanwhile, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) strategize.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Whines

Steffy can’t believe Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Ridge is still proud of all she’s done. If that’s true, why is she being kicked out of Forrester Creations?

Ridge says Brooke wants to be like Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) was to Eric Forrester (John McCook). 

Why doesn’t Ridge just tell her the truth, she’s a tyrant and totally unprofessional? Moving on, Steffy says Eric was CEO and Stephanie was the matriarch.

Ridge assures Steffy she will run the company one day. It would be nice if he and Brooke could experience this together.

Steffy says Brooke doesn’t need the title. Well, no one “needs” a title, it is who is best for the job, Queen Steffy.

If she really thinks she’s the queen, then Brooke will just fail and she’ll get the job back. Ah, unless she realizes she’s done wrong and her rein of terror is coming to an end. 

Ridge Forrester’s New Dilemma

Back to the storyline, Steffy says she’s the one who keeps the company rolling. Ridge appreciates it. They talk about when Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) took their company.

Steffy says she’s the one who got the company back. Steffy says Brooke can have any title except hers. 

Steffy blames Brooke for putting her father in this position. Steffy demands that Ridge love her more than Brooke. What does love have to do with the co-CEO position? This episode is making such little sense.

Logans Strategize

Over at the house, Brooke is sure Ridge will give her the position.

Steffy will fight it, but the press will love it. Hope thinks BRIDGE is the fashion world’s best love story. 

They wonder if Steffy will totally lose it. Brooke worries a bit, but Hope has no compassion for Steffy. 

Hope says Brooke is the “real queen” of the fashion world. Brooke reminds her that many queens have lost their heads! HA! Good one, blondie.

Liam Spencer’s Alert

Over at Logan, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) talks to Bill about the poor designs. She misses Eric. 

Bill doesn’t. Bill thinks Hope is going to join Logan. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) enters and says not so fast. 

Katie tells Bill and Liam that she mentioned Hope to Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis). Donna thinks she’s destroying the family.

Bill says Hope will never be appreciated at FC. Liam says things might be about to change. Bill doesn’t believe it, so Liam explains what Hope told him. 

Bill doesn’t think Steffy is going to step down. Katie mentions that it would be competing with Brooke toe-to-toe.
