The Bold And The Beautiful Recap Wednesday September 16: Finn Dumps Steffy, Sparks Fly Between Carter & Zoe

The Wednesday, September 16, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens at the cliff house with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) debating whether to take the prescription medication Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) gave her. Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) sneaks up on her while she’s deep in thought. She hides the bottle of pills. She understands why he doesn’t want to refill her meds. She doesn’t need another prescription. She says he’s been a big part of her recovery.

Finn dumps Steffy as his patient. She wonders if she has done something to turn him away. He admits that he thinks about her all the time, but doesn’t want to do anything unprofessional that would compromise her care. He can’t continue to have feelings for her and be her doctor too. She’s stunned by his admission. She stops him with a kiss when he tries to leave.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Looks For Ridge Forrester

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) looks for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) at Forrester Creations but finds Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) instead. Thomas wants to know why Liam is so stressed. Thomas says, if Liam is so worried about Steffy, he should be living with her and her daughter. Thomas believes Steffy is on the road to recovery.

Liam has a weird vibe about Steffy’s doctor. Finn shouldn’t have written her a second refill. The doctor seems to have too much intimate knowledge of their family and even gave Liam personal advice. When he asked Finn about Steffy’s medical condition, Finn sang her praises. Liam is skeptical that Finn’s romantic interest in Steffy may be coloring his judgment. Finn has crossed a line and Steffy is vulnerable.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Isn’t Concerned

Thomas isn’t concerned about Finn’s housecalls. The doctor has been vetted and is taking a holistic approach to treatment. Thomas is irritated that Liam went to Finn’s office. Thomas agrees with Finn’s advice that Liam gives Steffy more time with her daughter. Thomas suspects Liam is jealous of the young, good-looking doctor. Liam is the one who crossed the line. Thomas advises Liam to drop his inquisition.

Liam pleads that his focus is solely on Steffy’s well-being. Thomas says Liam gave up his right to dictate anything in Steffy’s life, including her choice of doctors.

Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) thanks Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for lunch at Il Giardino and for being so sweet. He’s proud to be seen with such a smart and beautiful woman. She can’t believe how much her life has changed in the past few months. Carter is proud that Zoe and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) played Thomas hard at his own game and Thomas ended up alone.

She wonders if she deserved getting dumped at the altar because of everything she’s done in the past. She regrets not coming forward sooner with the truth about Hope’s baby. Carter says Zoe has proven herself and is forgiven. It’s time she forgives herself.
