The Bold And The Beautiful Rumors: Massimo Marone Recast Coming In 2026?

The Bold and the Beautiful fan fave Massimo Marone has been trending a lot on social media these day.  The character was wildly popular during his tenure on the CBS soap, from 2000-2006 when Joe Mascolo played the part. 

After Mascolo exited, he went on to appear on Days of Our Lives until he passed away at 87 years old in 2016.  Now, the soap rumor mill is hinting there could be a Massimo recast coming!

B&B Actor Passed Away 10 Years Ago

The actor who played Massimo died in real life ten years ago.  However, The Bold and the Beautiful never actually killed off Massimo Marone. 

In 2006 he left Los Angeles and never returned, he left on his own two feet and very much alive. 

Over the years the character has been mentioned in passing and is assumed to still be alive off screen, if he did pass away then the fans never got the memo.

Fast forward to 2006, and The Bold and the Beautiful is resurrecting the iconic fashion wars that made the soap what it is today.  Massimo’s son Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) was back a few months ago and is rumored to be popping back up in the new year. 

There’s also speculation that Miss Dylan could be a descendant of the Marone Family, and the daughter of Massimo and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). 

Did Bell Confirm Marone Family Return

A few months ago showrunner Bradley Bell discussed bringing back one of the “core families” in 2006 to give the Forresters a run for their money on the runway. 

Fans assumed he meant the Spectra’s, but that doesn’t seem to be coming to fruition.  Was Bell talking about the Marone Family?
