Bill didn’t push it, but Poppy certainly pops those “mints” a lot. Poppy also never offers anyone else a mint, further suggesting they are pills.

In fact, during a recent episode, Luna was shocked to learn that Poppy lived with Li, Jack Finnegan (Ted King), and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). So, it seems Luna will continue to find out some surprising things about her mother.

With Poppy allegedly popping pills, she might end up getting in legal trouble one day. Poppy could be committing petty crimes to support her habit.

Of course, it’s always possible that Poppy is also getting the pills from a dealer. It wouldn’t be the first time that a character got addicted to pills. In fact, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) went through that.

However, if the cops question Poppy while Bill is around, he will likely intervene. Bill might even try to take the fall for Poppy. However, if Bill ends up getting arrested, that will just make everyone wonder if Li is right about Poppy.
