During an interview, the actor gave some teasers and information about what Thomas has been up to and what we can expect in the near future. There are four shocking tidbits that were discussed during the conversation.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – No Mental Health Treatment

B&B spoilers reveal that it was assumed that when Thomas vanished from the canvas, that he was in a mental health facility. At the very least, we thought he would be talking to a therapist. If fans recall, after he was exposed at Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) wedding, Eric Forrester (John McCook) said he would make sure Thomas got the help he needed.

Instead of receiving psychiatric help, he has been traveling, soul-searching and trying to find himself. Even though Atkinson told Soap Opera Digest that Thomas is in a different headspace now, it’s hard to imagine a little vacation could change a man who was that obsessed.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) betrayed Thomas and this led to the villain’s downfall. Even though she had a good reason for that, viewers wondered if she would become Thomas’ next target. It turns out that isn’t the case at all. During the past three months, Thomas has dealt with his anger toward Steffy and it is stated that they make peace.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Thomas has kept in touch with his loved ones while he has been gone. He has communicated with his father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) during his time away.

He has also been checking in with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and the woman he was obsessed with, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Atkinson explained that Thomas was checking on his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). However, it’s interesting that Liam and Hope are open to communicating with Thomas after everything he has done.

As for whether Thomas can really move past Hope, the actor said that he sure hopes so. He also hinted that there might be another woman in his future. Atkinson said,

“But I think there is definitely the ability for another woman, maybe someone he already knows or maybe somebody new, who could eventually hold a much bigger part of his heart [than Hope].”
