The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that a sordid truth will be revealed. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) stops the wedding when no one else steps up to tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) the truth about the CPS call!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers –  Douglas Forrester’s Confession

Prior to the wedding, as everyone was getting ready including Steffy’s mother, the bride to be, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) Steffy became concerned with Douglas. He was unusually glum and wanted to be alone in his room, and she went to check on him and he confided in her about the CPS call. Previously, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) ordered him to delete the voice changer app and all files, but with the help of Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) he was able to retrieve them.

He had his phone hidden under his pillow and after some reassurances from Steffy, brought it out and played all of them. Steffy was blindsided to learn her father had left Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) over that call, thinking Brooke had lied about CPS when it was Thomas impersonating her.

B & B Spoilers – The Truth Must Be Told

Thomas walked in on the true confessions, and then Taylor came in hearing Steffy and Thomas arguing, and Steffy had Douglas’ phone so Thomas couldn’t take it. She first told Thomas that their father had to know the truth, and then when their mother came in, she played the recordings. Poor Taylor looked like she had been just notified of a death in the family as her lighthearted happy mood turned into fear and heartbreak. Thomas tried to get everyone to go downstairs and forget about the voice app and the faked call from Brooke, but Steffy wasn’t about to let it go. When it was clear Thomas wouldn’t confess what he’d done to Ridge, she begged Taylor to; otherwise it could be a marriage under false pretenses.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Objection Raised

They all return downstairs and it gets to the point where Carter Walton, (Lawrence Saint-Victor) gets ready to pronounce Ridge and Taylor man and wife and asks if anyone objects. Everyone is shocked when Steffy stops the wedding, hoping that at least her mother would have told Ridge the truth, knowing Ridge could react badly to her knowing but not telling.

Ridge is shocked, Taylor is worried, and Thomas is angry at Steffy’s reveal, quite possibly playing the recordings on Douglas’ phone as proof. Ridge explodes at Thomas, thinking he had reformed, as Taylor had, and the reveal of the truth of the call changes everything.
