Eric Forrester (John McCook) overhears everything Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Shauna (Denise Richards) are talking about in the living room and he just sits hidden on the stairs to take it all in. Quinn loves him and wants to be loyal to him but he knows a woman like her needs more than he can give and he feels Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) can give that to her. Is he willing to stay with her and allow her to be with Carter as well? It sure sounds that way thanks to a preview in the September 14, 2021, issue of Soap Opera Digest.

“We are moving into a new chapter with Quinn, Eric, and Carter. It hasn’t ended yet,” Executive Producer Brad Bell told Digest. “We have a new twist coming in this fall, which should raise a lot of eyebrows, a story I think you’ve not seen before on daytime. It will be controversial.”
