The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Monday, May 17, reveals in Los Angeles at Forrester Creations Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) catches up with her daughter. Brooke hasn’t been around because she wanted to give Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) privacy. Hope says she and the kids are overjoyed to have Liam home. Liam has been so attentive and caring, it feels like they are moving forward. Total forgiveness will take time. Hope says Liam is still struggling with what he did. That night still haunts him.

When Hope leaves, Brooke tells her husband that she’s excited and relieved that Hope and Liam have reunited. After everything they’ve been through, it’s beautiful to see. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) says it looks like Hope took her mother’s advice and opened her heart to Liam. It’s good to see their kids in relationships where they’re appreciated. Brooke says tonight could be the night Liam and Hope truly reunite and reignite their passion. Liam is committed to making it work for good. She reminds Ridge of the night they reconnected.

The Bold And The Beautiful – Liam Spencer Ruins The Mood

At the cabin, Liam prepares a candlelit dinner for his wife. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) kills his good mood when he mentions Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin). Bill encourages Liam to stay focused on hope and not let his guilt poison his relationship with Hope. Liam says he doesn’t deserve the good things that are happening. Liam can’t pretend he didn’t kill a man. Bill says Liam cannot tell Hope the truth.

Hope returns home to a romantic scene. She and Liam toast to an evening alone, just the two of them. Liam wants the night to remind them of all the wonderful things they’ve experienced together, including an orange ricotta cake in Italy. He’s excited about their future. He was lost without her. He wants to be totally present with her.

B&B Spoilers – Recommitment

She’s happy to see his recommitment to her and their family. She doesn’t want him to keep feeling like he has to prove himself. Whatever lies ahead, they’re in it together. They have their entire lives to share their love. Liam prays that she’s right. He won’t waste his second chance. He hopes to make her feel like she’s the most important thing in his life. He doesn’t want to ever see her unhappy again. Going forward, he only wants to bring good things to her life.

Liam and Hope kiss passionately. Liam says everything feels right being with Hope.

At Spencer Publications, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) walks in on a tense phone conversation between Bill and one of his employees. Wyatt wants to know what’s going on with his father. Bill is extra testy lately. He’s concerned about his dad. Wyatt isn’t leaving until he has answers. Bill clams up.

Wyatt guesses that Bill is stressed out about Liam. Bill yells that he doesn’t need advice. He’s just frustrated. He loves his sons and worries about them all the time. Bill’s dad didn’t care about him but nothing matters more to Bill than his kids.
