The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and recap for Thursday, January 21, 2021 reveals in Los Angeles at the cabin where Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) opens up to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). She confirms what he overheard: Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) betrayed her and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is pregnant. Thomas wishes he could take away her pain. He tried to warn Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about Liam, but no one could have seen this coming.

Hope wonders if she should have been paying more attention to the time Liam spent with Steffy. Liam’s drinking wasn’t an excuse to cheat. He knew he could destroy their family and he did it anyway.

Thomas takes the blame for Liam’s overreaction to Thomas kissing the mannequin. Thomas reminds her that Liam loves her. He heard it in Liam’s voice when Liam was begging for forgiveness. The pregnancy will make things complicated, but Hope will cross that bridge when she comes to it. He surprises Hope with advice to cross the bridge with Liam and give him another chance.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy apologizes for being unfaithful and putting Finn in the position of worrying about her baby’s paternity. Finn wonders where he stands with Steffy. He demands complete honesty: does Steffy want Finn or Liam to be the father?

Steffy says that her mother constantly tried to hold onto Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), even though she couldn’t have him. Steffy doesn’t want to repeat the pattern. She’s finally ready to break away from Liam.

Finn wants to be more than a distraction from the drama with Hope and Liam. Steffy promises that Finn is everything to him. She wants to stay on the adventure with him. She likes who she is with Finn and she feels safe with him. He makes her feel like the most important person in the world. Steffy wants him to be the father of her child. She wants to move on from Liam and commit her life to Finn.

When she asks Finn if he wants to commit to her, he walks toward the door, making her cry. He shuts the door and chooses her. He knows she regrets her actions. He believes it won’t happen again. Finn loves Steffy and wants a family with her, including her baby.

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) walk in on a meltdown. Liam explodes during a telephone negotiation. Wyatt notes that Liam sounded like their father. He guesses that Liam is upset about Thomas living in the Forrester home. Wyatt would have flipped out if he’d seen his wife kissing Thomas.
When Flo leaves them to run errands, Wyatt demands to know the real story. Liam is freaked out about his future. Wyatt is shocked as his vegan brother drowns his emotions in a roast beef sandwich with cheese. He promises he won’t judge Liam.

Liam says he hurt Hope in the worst possible way. Wyatt deduces that Liam cheated with Steffy. Liam admits that Steffy is pregnant and it’s either his or Finn’s baby. Liam says that throwing away a perfect life is what he does best.
