The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Thursday, October 3: Brooke Blasts Ridge – Hope and Liam Want To Protect Douglas

The Thursday, October 3, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful opens as Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) tries to slam her door in Thomas Forrester’s face (Matthew Atkinson). He’s not welcome in her home after he threatened her daughter and made her life a living hell.

Thomas ignores her insults and barges in. He knows all about Shauna and his dad and encourages her to keep up the good work in driving a wedge between Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Shauna is surprised that Brooke found out the truth about her night with a drunken Ridge. Thomas and Shauna want the same thing—to break up Ridge and Brooke.

B&B Spoilers– Brooke Logan Is Furious Over Shauna Fulton Situation

Brooke laments the havoc Thomas has wreaked on their lives. She can’t forgive or forget what Ridge’s son did to her daughter. She also can’t get over the fact that her husband spent the night with Shauna, knowing what she and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) did to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Why has Ridge gone soft on Thomas, Flo, and Shauna, letting them live their lives with no consequences? Even years of therapy won’t help Thomas and his deep-seated issues. Brooke can’t be a part of Ridge’s efforts to rehabilitate Thomas—Douglas can’t either. Their grandson will be safe and happy with Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), not Thomas.

At the cabin, Hope and Liam watch proudly as Beth (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) play together. Douglas says that it makes him happy when he’s with the little family. Hope snaps photos of the kids and sends them to her mom. She and Liam agree that Douglas should live with them and that they will do what it takes to keep the boy away from Thomas.

Brooke begs Ridge to convince Thomas to give Liam and Hope custody of Douglas. She shows her husband a photo of a smiling Douglas, who is thriving with Hope as his “mom.” Brooke won’t allow Thomas to torture Douglas for the rest of his life. Brooke criticizes Ridge for losing his focus by defending Thomas, Shauna, and Flo. She gives Ridge an ultimatum—if he continues to act this way, Brooke can’t be around him.

Ridge plans to move out, to a place where he can fix Thomas and Steffy. Brooke sadly agrees that time apart will do them good. Brooke cries as her husband professes his love for her but walks out the door.
