The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Rumors: Penny Stays In Town, Has A Connection To Another Character

CBS The Bold and the Beautiful rumors indicate that Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) will be sticking around a little while longer in Los Angeles.

Penny became mixed up in Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) plan to pretend the redhead was dying in order to win back Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). When Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) discovered the plan, she panicked and knocked her out.

When Sally’s plan turned to kidnap and chaining Flo to a radiator, Penny became worried. She knew that if the truth got out this would be the end of her medical career.

Now that Sally’s betrayal has been exposed and the redhead is leaving the show, it looks like this may be the end of Penny as well.

Or maybe not.

Speculation is that the doctor will stay in town and she’ll become connected to another B&B character.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Penny Escobar Connection

Since Penny is a doctor, odds are that she’ll in some way be connected to B&B’s newest hunk Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Penny and John could be old work colleagues and he supports her as she tries to get back her medical license.

This story could also lead to the revelation that Penny and John used to be lovers and set up a possible love triangle with her John, and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Another scenario that could happen if Penny stays is that she’ll become the love interest for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

As viewers remember Thomas had an unhealthy obsession with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and resorted to manipulation to get his way. When his plan was exposed, he left town. But upon hearing about Steffy’s accident he’s returned and it seems he’s changed his ways.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester A Changed Man

With Thomas now being a reformed man and back in town for good, he’s going to need a new love interest. Many believed he would reunite with Sally, but with her gone and most of the other women taken, there’s nobody left for Thomas.

Except for Penny.

Thomas could help a down on her luck Penny by asking her to help look after his sister Steffy while she recovers from her accident. This could be a way to redeem Penny following Sally’s “health” crisis.

As Penny helps Steffy recover, this will lead to more interactions with the doctor and Thomas. Before long the two will develop feelings for each other, and a relationship will bloom.

A Penny and Thomas relationship would be great because it’d keep him out of the clutches of one of the Logan women. Thomas fans want him away from Hope and feel he needs to be with someone else.

With Penny’s career over as a doctor, Thomas could be the person to help her turn her life around. In the process, Penny could find herself falling in love and possibly becoming a Forrester bride.
