While Ridge has agreed to honor his marriage vows to Shauna upon discovering they eloped in Vega, there’s still one problem standing in the way of their relationship. Ridge’s ex-wife Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Shauna knows the history of Ridge and Brooke’s love story. Even though the exes split up, they tend to always go back to each other. This time Shauna wants to put an end to them permanently.
Ridge was almost on the verge of going back to Brooke before he heard her confess her love to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Believing it was over between them, Ridge then left for Shauna’s.
Even though Ridge is with her now, she knows he still has feelings for Brooke and it’s only going to be a matter of before Ms. Logan decides to fight for her man. Not wanting to lose Ridge, Shauna will come up with a new plan to make sure he stays with her.

Shauna knows that a baby will forever tie her to Ridge, and with him not wanting to be an absent father, he’ll stay with Shauna for the sake of their child.
However, there’s one catch to Shauna’s plan.
Years ago Ridge had a vasectomy and couldn’t get it reversed. Shauna may not know this fact, and it could be a wrench in her plans.
B&B Spoilers – One Of Two Outcomes Could Happen In Shauna’s Case.
The first is that she actually does become pregnant with Ridge’s baby. As soap viewers know by now, there’s always a plot twist. Even though Ridge had a vasectomy, that doesn’t mean it was effective. Odds are that Ridge is still able to father a child, in fact, many fans believe he’s the real father of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

With Ridge now able to have children, chances are that another mini Ridge or mini Shauna is on the way.
The next possible outcome for Shauna’s plan is that she’ll have trouble conceiving. Shauna doesn’t know about Ridge’s vasectomy and will continue seducing her husband in hopes of getting pregnant.
When she doesn’t get pregnant as quickly as she expects, Shauna will resort to artificial insemination or hook up with another man and become pregnant.
When and if Shauna does become pregnant, it’s going to draw some suspicion from Ridge and the rest of the family. Ms. Fulton will have a lot of explaining to do as she works herself out of this jam.
While Shauna thinks having Ridge’s baby will help save her marriage, in the end, it may do more harm than good.
